របៀបធ្វេីនំបំពង់ខ្មែរអង្ករខ្សាយ khmer steam cake in a bamboo tube

  • Recipe:
    Step 1) Three cups of jasmine rice wash and soak overnight.
    Step 2) One cup of fresh shredded young coconut meat set a side.
    Step 3) One tablespoon toasted black or white sesame seed.
    One teaspoon salt .
    Three tablespoon of sugar.
    Blend all three ingredients above in a mortar and set a side for topping.
    Step 4) prepare bamboo tube and steaming pot .
    Step5) rinse and drain the rice that was soaked overnight .
    Add one teaspoon salt , 1/4 cup shredded coconut and put in food processor and blend it until it nice and smooth.
    Step 6) ready for steaming as shown in video.

    Thank you for sharing this cake I want to do for a long time,couldn’t find the way to do it, I tried to go to different store to get bamboo to do it,I went to check at Home Depot get metal pipe open and end holes.

    I love that food, when I was little I use see my sister make them and sell them, but I never payation to see how she make it, when I see that food I miss my sister and I never eat a gain. Thank for sharing, one day I will try to make it.
