- Finally back in Svalbard. And this time its winter and snow. Together with Stavanger foto, we arranged a workshop with our guide Oddgeir Sagerup, / seeandexplore_
Our first day in this 4 days wildlife photography adventure started epic, with a large male walrus resting on a beach. And then ended with reindeer and some bird photography with ptarmigan and eiders. Nikon was so kind to loan me the new z 600mm TC for this trip, with I was so excited to use together with the nikon Z9.

Hi Trond, thank you so much for sharing your day 1 with us! I'm happy for you for your awesome first day there. I miss Svalbard, I was there last year but didn't ha the chance to photograph ptarmigan and reindeer. But walrus and polar bears on ice yes :)

Is this the Arctic wildlife tours, Exploring Svalbard by snowmobile?
Little of both. We also travel by foot.
@Trond Westby I got in touch with Arctic tours. To do the four day snowmobile wildlife tour. They say that they may not be doing it due to rules changing. Just keep my fingers crossed. I look forward to seeing the rest of your vlogs there.
