It’s amusing that the “master icosamate” (actually, it is called the Astrominx) is much larger than the icosamate you have there, since all the pieces for the astrominx are also found within the mechanism for the icosamate.
When going from a standard pentultimate to a standard icosamate (i.e., non-super versions), the piece type that requires orientation changes from the triangle to the pentagon, meaning the triangles don't have orientation on the standard icosamate. Because of this, it's not a true super-cube.
In terms of the Master Icosamate you have, I think it's probably better to see it as a shape mod of the face turning Starminx. The Starminx (Dodecahedron) lacks corners, and this Master Icosamate lacks the corresponding centers.
Right now, I am trying to solve the Great Wall puzzle (burr 6 variation) and this is highly challenging !!! I would love it see your strategy on this one
welcome back sirji, as promised earlier, pls make tutorial for shuang fei yan and clovar octahedron fragmentation. both looks amazing and seems super complex and only you can create a solve solution. both are mass produced and available. thanks
@@pyracrys0174 its not sirij, is sirji, its sir + ji. In india you can add suffix "ji" for showing admiration or even further respect to a person, and can be younger/older than you. (similar to "san" in japanese) Its even publicly spoken. Like Mikeji or Uncleji. sorry for my bad :)
Hello, Ever since the pentultimate was first physically made by Jason Smith back in 2008 and I developed one of the first solutions using the gelatinbrain app I've always been yearning for the pentultimate and iscoamate variant to add to my collection. I don't see these two puzzles on Raphael's list of available products. Is there any way for me to obtain these? Cost is not an issue. I've purchased a few of Raphael's puzzles and I know the quality of his products is worth each and every penny. PLEASE let me know if I can special request these. I will wait as long as I need to to add these to my collection.

Hi Tommy. It started out pretty good, but one move caused an entire side to explode. Because it was scrambled, I had to take the whole thing apart, only to find that a center piece broke. At that point, I gave up an appealed to a higher power...Raphael!
