Usually in the US Musk Melon is what you're gonna be seeing since true cantaloupe is usually found in parts of Europe, and even then its rare. But if you've never tasted it i highly recommend it! There is a candy, called Hi-chew, they have a cantaloupe flavor, and its i honestly as close to the real thing ive ever found in a candy, so if you cant find really musk melon, try to find those! its very very close, just a little sweeter :) If you are in the USA walgreens sell them in bags of the tropical mix :)

I would try this recipe (probably in Summer, it's winter here now), but I don't have an Ice Shaver machine (and have no idea where I could get one). I will definitely try the Melon Cream Soda though.

Puree the melon flesh in a processor or even push it through a strainer or sieve and freeze it in a flat container. Once frozen you can use a fork to "shave" it like a Granita. It works quite well if you don't own an ice shaver. ( myself included!)

The green melon is Honeydew. Muskmelon is a species/ family name. Both the orange Cantaloupe ( Rockmelon here in AUS) and Honeydew Melon are related!
