Cloning himself to more easily surmount obstacles that would otherwise require slight effort and continuously farming the first section of a stage to receive unlimited power are both things Magolor would do
I'm pretty sure 4D chess isn't a thing. You know I've never actually played 3D chess either I know it's a real thing, but with so much extra space how are you supposed to trap your opponent? I guess that's why it's considered so hard. EDIT: Yeah it actually exists, or at least one such computer game bears the name '4D Chess'. I should have realized that of course someone was going to make it. It looks like its 3D chess with some pieces that can be said to move in "4D", so it seems like enough thought has been put into it to be a functional game. Same with 5D Chess mentioned. That being said I should have realized somebody was going to make such a game regardless of whether or not it was solvable by the same effort it takes to get good at it. Heck, there's probably a 10D Chess in development where it is completely impossible to get a checkmate, but who cares?

Didn’t know levitation also made it so charging makes you gain height. It’s like the devs wanted this to be possible in the most grueling way possible.
The monologue at the beginning was pretty epic; it tied the story from the last episode to this episode! Not only that but seeing you clear this "impossible" challenge was amazing!
This challenge is basically what happens when you take "Me, Myself, and I" to another level. And you get that another level by adding one more "and I" at the end.
I thought something like this would be possible somehow because of the multiplayer stacking but I never noticed that you get a small bit of height from getting forced off of a stack. also I have a feeling a lot of people are going to want you to 100% the game
You can only angle the surges once you get the third surge, as the ability to angle the surges comes with the same upgrade that gives the third surge... and if I recall correctly you can't get said upgrade until the last Fruit Fragment buffs your max levels, so you *couldn't* angle it until the final boss
I really love how you go above and beyond with these challenges. I don't think any other youtuber would think about using multiplayer to get past those obstacles, mainly because they don't have as much patience as you.
Insane strategy aside (seriously, I thought this wouldn’t be possible), can we talk about what the epilogue means for the lore? Super Kirby Clash is canon now, so that means Kirby canonically fought Galacta Knight - not just in an arena or dream world - at some point between Return to Dreamland and Star Allies, where he got absorbed by Morpho Knight. Not to mention the Master Crown, which I’m 90% sure is showing Magolor his Ancient lineage in the background getting absolutely decimated, telling us that the Master Crown was what wiped out the Ancients. Like…holy crap. I love how the Kirby Switch games have just been lore dumps lol
Yo when I saw the tutorial I thought it was not impossible to beat this Magolor Quest but now that I watched this video, It is possible to beat Magolor quest which is awesome.
wouldn't some bits have been a bit easier to handle with upgraded magolor surge or would that have been too much grind? I believe at lvl 5 or something it lets you use it in any direction in 3 successions (so long as you start with a horizontal dash) and gives invincibility through the whole motion.
Ok to let you know the dash you can make the dash go upwards if and only if you level it up to where you can dash multiple times, and therefore the dash move is also a great way to beat this mode without jumping.
Turns out, magolor surge when upgraded gains the ability to change directions. In other words, he can go up with it. I'm curious how maxing everything possible out as soon as possible changes the run using the exploit from level one. I doubt I'm getting answers here, but hopefully someone insane stumbles across my comment and tries it. Also, spam the block button in the air during the final boss. It's breaks the fight if you upgrade it just once, as you just ignore everything and at max level deal damage.
You could see if there's the multiplayer guard hold teleport here too idk (in the wii if you held A and B when you're able to guard, you teleport to player 1 (if you are player 1 nothing happens
How many of these levels could potentially be jumpless and levitationless? I know surge with one of the upgrades allowing two in a row can be aimed upards and mighty magic bomb can get you some height, like a small jump
Good video as always, but kinda disappointing ending of "And then we got Levitation 4 and won." which was an option from level 1 if you grind enough as far as I can tell. Begs the question of is it still possible with Levitation 3? 2? I know that's a much more specific challenge run and not really the essence of the Kirby Jumpless series though. Only mentioning it because I really enjoyed the first half of the video
Leaving my obligatory early comment here. Also I really should play the actual game part of this, but marry magic and has such a tight grip on my Completionist throught that I just can’t stop playing it 😭😭
Magolor Epilogue without jumping turns it from a action platformer into puzzle platformer apparently
That's a very conscise yet apt description.
Well at least for the first few levels that's the case. Then it turns into a slightly harder version of the original game.
Kirby is a action platformer with puzzle elements. Kirby jumpless is a puzzle game with action platformer elements.

Agreed.
I want to see this as the canon way of how Magolor went through it because this way, he learns how important it is to have friends to help you
Plus, it makes sense he can’t jump, because in the beginning cutscene he’s falling, so of course he would break his nonexistent legs!
