The north east are the hidden gems of India . The people of North East are 1000x better than some people of Delhi . I am from Kolkata and I have met many North East people . They are pretty loving and friendly and I must admit that North East is much safer than other parts of India .

Even us Northeast Indians, ever noticed that even us tribals are racists ? we shouldn't discriminate mainland Indians just because that they're different from us or just because our fellow northeastern brothers get bullied in other parts of India, we shouldn't look for revenge, we're all Indians and let's all unite as one. We don't need to hate or love everyone, all we need is respect. Let's just respect each other.

I stayed in shillong for 12 hours and visited elephant falls, police bazaar and few other places. I regret not staying longer.
Nice, cute place and people . Small houses and small people lol🤣 I think shillong is one of the best cities in India.

I completed my 3yrs graduation from Guwahati and completely fell in love with the tradition , history and mainly the culture of the place , northeast all together has a lot to explore , many of its facts are still unknown to the other parts of India . Assam has recently started promoting it's tourism in a mass scale , and I was lucky enough to be a part of it .
And yes you missed visiting Dawki the cleanest river sharing border with Bangladesh and Mawlinglong the cleanest village of Asia , the living root bridge , etc . Those were the sights to be behold ..

@@vlogonwithprashant If you are interesting you can stay in guest house "Jiva Resorts" in SOHRA and then you can finish visiting every tourist place within 3 or 4 days but like Laitlum is on other side of SOHRA.. And if you interest also you can visit Garo Hills like Balpakram, Nokrek, Siju Cave and other new tourist places.

I really feel bad and ashamed when someone pass racists comments like this. But at the there are good and bad people everywhere. Racism is present in every part of the world. Even I have faced racism fewtimes from my own town people coz of my skin colour and coz of my English. But there is always a solution and we will fight against it together and let's make India better place to live😊.

Totally agree with you when I was in Sikkim I saw this people are very loyal and honest. they are good in hospitality but we don't respect them . many of Sikkimist complained that Indian people tease them with name like 'momo' which is also not good.
and I am totally agree that we should stop seeing them as Chinese.
If you wanna see tea gardens in their true sense, visit those in upper Assam in ur next visit.

2019 I used to work in max life insurance. I told one of my colleague that I’m from Assam and he asked me that does passport needed to visit Assam ? I was shocked...!!! I smiled and replied him yes...!!!

Moreover Assamese is a very large community it is a mixture of various kinds of people so not only some particular people are Assamese....
