We apply a very little amount of " mirch masala" to our food. We keep it sweet, simple, heatlhy and nutritious. Unlike the northern and western parts of the country, the taste of the food in Assam is very different. Even the non veg items are very light and delicious with least masala. Love from Assam. Yes its healthy but not that delicious cuz only spices makes a dish delicious... The reason is Mughal didn't visit here so Assam didn't get the variety and taste of spices so it remains spiceless and healthy which is also good either way

There are many more beautiful places in Assam that you must visit. Also, there is some other place in Guwahati which you will definitely like. Next time agar aap aao to Bhimashankar temple jarur ayega, jisse k bare mai apko shivpuran Mai padhne milega, chandubi lake aap aa sakte hain, you can also stay in alfresco grand which is a beautiful cruise in bramhaputra. You can also visit umanand which is a beautiful island in bramhaputra river. You can visit madhav mandir in hajo. In upper Assam you can visit rang ghar, kareng ghar. You can visit majuli, molai forest and many more places. You are gonna love it.
