I’m starting to think Dave might be the best climber of all time. To still be this strong for so long is absolutely amazing. Not to mention all the research and knowledge he has contributed as well…. Thank you for all the inspiration!
Loved this video. I think episodes that cover the most time, often lead to the best story - at least that's what I've found with our channel. You did an excellent job with the story telling here Dave - not to mention the climbing 💪 Congrats on the send and the progress with the channel.
Glad to see you here mate! Didn't realise you were such an avid climber. Dave is uber talented at storytelling and a secret weapon, I'd love to get up there in the highlands and tease some stories out of him myself! It's insane how he is an elite athlete, beautiful storyteller, philosopher and cinematographer. We've gotta get up and get some stories dude!!
Thank you for making these videos! I always love the documentary style and listening to your thoughts. You always have such amazing insight and wise words. Plus it’s enjoyable just seeing and hearing about the process. Hope you are doing well!
Followed every video you've done on the journey to succeed on this. Massive respect, and bloody well dome mate! it's been a honour being able to see this.
love this positive attitude and mindset. a lot of times when you fall on a move (at least on camera), you seem to get psyched that the move feels possible, even tho you didn't stick it. lots of people still rather get upset and don't manage to see the progress.. something i should try and adapt in my next projecting sessions
Really dig these winter bouldering sessions. Definitely shows the dedication and passion you have for all styles of climbing. Your videos give me a taste of relaxation with a side of psyche. Thanks for another good one Dave.
really love your videos, have for a long time, to hear yout thinking about a problem and the process around it it supernice, espically for me who been climbing for along time
Congrats! Thanks for documenting your journey on the project so thoroughly. That feeling, when the crux feels easy and the project finally goes is truly one of the greatest in climbing.
Very educational insight on how to handle projects! Thanks Dave for sharing! Could you also go a little deeper on skin management for bouldering? It is a topic that is as essential as neglected in youtube. Thank you if you're reading this. Huge fan of yours!
Hi Dave, hope all is well with you. I've been getting some a2 pulley injuries and heard you had a good book to buy, or maybe some blog on the topic. Would you be able to point me in that direction please. Thanks!
Always psyched to see new content and this is definitely no exception thanks Dave super inspiring. We’d all love to see you project a V15, still got it in you? Looks like it 💪👌
"to celebrate with two cups of tea" this made me chuckle... this man nows how to party
Great ascent!!!
Man I was laughing at that too hahah. What a cheat day! I guess that's how you keep improving even at his age.
@@paxpoggi9398 🤣 'cheat day', love it
TWO !!!
Partygate right there! 😆
I was waiting for the 'Take out the cheesecake, and put it back'. But he's letting himself go with this IMHO... ;P

Yes Dave! Absolutely inspirational stuff. The double tea celebration took me by surprise; nearly spat tea all over my desk. Quality!

Incredible work Dave
Great route name, Dave!
Don't feel like I've earned even one cup of tea this morning now after watching this. Amazing effort!
Great video and great climbing. Would love to see some updated merch with the gorilla and 'mae f***ing pinkie'.
Thanks for the continuous inspiration Dave!
I'm almost happier to see Dave succeed than my own self haha
Such a great story teller
when you celebrate with 2 cups of tea, I imagine you mean both at the same time with one in each hand :D
That move is awesome!
thank you for another awesome video!
Such a good video! Beautiful little short one. Could you share your reasoning for the Skwama/Solution-mixup?
So clean! Congrats 🎉
Best video yet, has anyone else climbed it Dave or just you?
"F'n pinky man" 😂
Nice work.
Love your videos! If I ever actually go winter bouldering it will be because of your inspiration! :D

Congrats! Thanks for documenting your journey on the project so thoroughly. That feeling, when the crux feels easy and the project finally goes is truly one of the greatest in climbing.
Very well done; Often an inspiration, today is no different.
Fuckin pinky!...laughed my socks off...so unexpected!

“F**king pinky”. Classic.🤣
"TWO cups of tea" 😂
Awesome stuff, Dave. Have you ever messed around with antihydral? Since you mentioned glassy skin.
Awesome!
Hi Dave, love the content!
What 4k camera are you shooting with these days? What lenses?
Brilliant
Yes Dave, great video once again, and a great send.
We miss you Dave. Any new videos soon??
Nice one!
Hi Dave, hope all is well with you. I've been getting some a2 pulley injuries and heard you had a good book to buy, or maybe some blog on the topic. Would you be able to point me in that direction please. Thanks!
The link to my book is in the description of this video.
@@climbermacleod Thanks, but which book would address the Pulley injury? Make or break?
Ya dancer!! Those holds you were cranking off looked absolutely brutal. How do you get your fingers warmed up to confidently pull on them??
Aye! Just some hangs and pull-ups on an adjacent boulder, followed by the climbing the easier first half of the problem 4 or 5 times.
@@climbermacleod brill - will try this next time im out. Congrats on the send 💪💪
Why not climb in summer?
Celebrate with two cups of tea! :-)
Always psyched to see new content and this is definitely no exception thanks Dave super inspiring. We’d all love to see you project a V15, still got it in you? Looks like it 💪👌
Dave, I'm curous, what's the ethics involved with another climber coming and climbing your project?
If you listen closely you can hear all the skwama fanboys amidst an existential crisis as DM sends 2022 boulder project in solutions lol
Well, one Solution at least.
@@climbermacleod and a modified solution at that...?!
@@max_blauer In the older footage yes. A bit of extra toe hook rubber on that pair, which was for this FA th-cam.com/video/Px06SfSv8Ts/w-d-xo.html
Always cloudy over there. Don't you guys have climate change???
