  • In this video we summarise all the information that we've covered so far on AC Theory. For more detailed information on specific subjects such as resistive, Inductive and capacitive loads, reactance, the relationships between current and voltage, and how we can represent these as phasor and wave diagrams, please see the AC Theory playlist I've created on my channel.

I am a former primary.secondary teacher and transferring into the electrical industry. I am sitting in class with teachers that don't have your passion nor ability to delve deeper into the 'why' of a formula or the 'why' of how electricity works. You have cleared things up so well that I am some times teaching the teacher! I am all the way over from Australia.

Great bloke and a very good teacher , from having the experience of being taught by joe I can easily say there’s no one as passionate or keen then joe is for his learners , Keep up the good work joe greatly appreciated

Been struggling to know how to reply to this Ryan as it's a bit overwhelming, thanks so much for your kind comment. It's people like yourself that I do this for so it's nice to know it's appreciated. Let's smash those exams and get an apprenticeship yeah?

just wanted to drop a quick thank you. My career is non destructive testing, and Im currently learning about eddy current testing, which if you dont know involves using an a.c to induce a magnetic field into a part to detect defects. theres a lot of a.c theory and the se videos realy clear up the frankly poor and archaic notes i was given on the course. so thank you again. you look like youve put a lot of time and effort into these.

Learning so much. I’ve been binge watching these and making my own revision notes. Any more videos to come? Maybe cable size calculation.

Wow... Stumbled into this channel. Wildly underrated! You should make some shorts and... well, I don't know... Did you tick all the "TH-cam creator" boxes? So the algorithm is more likely to pick up on the channel/a video and push it to people? Maybe make some shorts, really. Cause you definitely, in this video alone already, better explain some things other channels don't. Should be much more popular, quality material, very clear and complete and nicely timed, not too long.
YT algorithm really should pick up on you. You deserve it. And it will help other people out a lot.
Subbed, ticked the alarm bell and definitely will share!
    Thanks!

@@JoeRobinsonTraining I say 'it ain't broke' and doesn't need fixing....your content provides calculations where needed but more importantly you give context and background knowledge so we're not just smacked over the head by random equations! Thanks for putting in the effort!
