Yesssss please do the autumn and Halloween designs. I’m trying to do my first gig for Halloween . Appreciate your content so much. It gave me the confidence to use this pallet first instead of trying to break the bank
Love it!! Love the unicorn - I usually add the head around the person’s eye but that can be touch and go with outlining. I definitely need to switch at least my fast designs to just the horn, ear and hair. So much easier and looks so cute
Yes I usually reserve this unicorn for when I'm in a crunch for time when I have a line or if I have a younger client that can't sit still for very long lol!
Thank you for breaking down how you use each color combo (more of that please!) - That's difficult for me, I get excited by the colors, buy it, then have no idea how to use it!
Thank you for doing this. It really helps those of us who are starting on this journey. I was wondering if you know of a similar palette but then with solid colors.
Yes I do! There is a starter set made by Fusion Body art that has some of both and some metallics and two glitters as well. It’s called the perfect face painting kit and its $33 on amazon. I will have a new video about this one in November!
Please do NOT put paint on a child or anyone's lips. It is toxic to ingest - esp. for children. Also, do NOT add face glitter to lips or share lipstick between people.
Thank you for the concern! Actually most professional facepaints are non toxic and can be applied on lips without issue if they follow standard safety regulations, although some do specify on their packaging not to. So I would say check your paint’s packaging and safety ratings before using them in this manner. Lipsticks are fine to use as well as glitter lipsticks or glosses, but do not use the stick directly on the lips. I will either use a disposable applicator for each person/child or a standard face painting brush that is cleaned and sanitized between each customer. Here is a link to safety guidlines for using and applying face paint safely, on lips or otherwise. jestpaint.com/blogs/how-to-face-paint-face-painting-tips/the-big-face-paint-blog-of-questions#:~:text=Most%20face%20paint%20colors%20can,some%20blue%20and%20green%20pigments.
