Maiden has been a big part of my life for almost 40 years. I started listening to Powerslave in 1984 when I was 12 and delivering papers on my bike while wearing a walkman. It's crazy to think they are still here and I'm still getting new stuff from them. Thank you Iron Maiden!
the same here, 9 years old my older brother introduced me to Iron Maiden Number of the beast album . This band runs in my veins . This album is the real thing after many many years , not that the other albums (after 90s) are not but this one just has the right sound and maiden feeling.
I can hear you. I started listening when their first album Iron Maiden came out, and here we are today still listening to their 17th album, Iron Maiden is the best Heavy Metal band on the planet.
The final minute and a half is absolute PERFECTION and proves how Dickinson is the very best vocalist in metal history! Epic, epic song all around that would be hailed as a classic now had it been on any of Maiden's older albums!
The last minute and a half of this song genuinely made me tear up. Possibly the most beautiful vocal performance Bruce has ever given alongside those haunting lyrics had a deep emotional impact on me. Just amazing.

Speaking about the whole Abum, it is an epic, an adventurous journey! It appears as a storytelling, progressing slowly to pace, like a movie, an opera it takes you away from you!! Each song gives you surprises and goosebumps at some point for sure!!! And Yes! I liked anything they did. It is not realistic to expect another Piece Of Mind from them now, and why they'd do that?! They can always do anew. The most interesting thing (IMO) of this album is, this contains almost everything that Iron Maiden have been doing since then to till date. Like I found the Ancient Mariner, Wasting Love, The 7th Son, Clansman, Dance of Death, Chains of Misery, Hallowed Be Thy Name, Signs of the Cross, No Prayer for the Dying, From Here To Eternity, Stranger In A Strange Land and many more songs from their different albums in it!!! Listening to Steves awesome epics in 2021 is always some sort of emotional homecoming for me. I've been a fan since 1986, and be it victory, triumph, pain, agony, death, defeat, love, hate, struggle, pride - Maiden were always there with and for me. Always!! THANX for that and UP THE IRONS!! Forever.
Can we all just stop for a moment and appreciate the last minute of this song? I think we have witnessed the best Maiden outro to date... And it only took a bass, a guitar, some synth pads, a vocalist that’s been through a lot an a whole lotta heart.
This song is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Absolute perfection. Everyone keeps talking about Bruce, who absolutely deserves admiration. But kudos to Steve Harris. He wrote this entire song on his own... absolute brilliance.
Mr. Adrian smith , I think you are magician, such a great guitar solo. Hey man c'mon just be honest and reveal to us that you are . Such an awesome guitar solo💖💖💖
Words cannot describe how epic this song is. This is definitely one of my favorite songs off this album I really love that instrumental section in the middle.
That mid section instrumental part is for me the one and only slightly weak spot on the whole album! It's too repetitive and should have either been sped up or even slowed down with a Strange World Murray style solo. It's not that it's bad because it's not and as the standard of this album is so ridiculously it just stands out amongst such greatness

I absolutely bow down in all eternity for such a masterpiece of art! The melody combined with Bruce's lyrics from 3:37 on are otherworldly! This album is by far the best music experience in total which I've ever listened to. UP THE IRONS!!
Amigos ! De onde esses magos do maiden conseguem tirar essas perolss?? So pode ser de outro planeta ! UP THE IRONS!! fantástico !! Lindo !! Maravilhoso !!!
Always amazes me how they stay true to their sound all while progressing and advancing musically. You know 100% this is maiden. Crazy how they are still able to give us something new with that nostalgic feel.
How is this not the greatest band of all time? Steve aside from being the best bassist of all time is also a master song writer and bruce’s voice is beyond magical just that ending bring tears to my eyes. i really hope this play this live on their next tour. Already my favorite song in the already masterpiece of an album
I remember on Aug 28th they were supposed to play in Minnesota. This was a few years ago. But that same exact day they played, I also received news that I was pregnant after years I was told I possibly couldn’t have children. Now my son and I are rocking the shit outta this! Love you Iron Maiden.

Gracias una vez mas Iron Maiden la banda mas grande del planeta, toda la esencia y fuerza intacta y superaron las espectativas grandes compositores del metal .
I'm a huge Maiden fan since seeing them with Paul DiAnno. This is amazing. The backing vocals and keyboards add a lot to Senjutsu. Bruce is definitely one of greatest metal singers. I've been waiting for new music from Maiden- this was worth the wait. Lost in a Lost World is already one of my favorite Maiden tunes. Up the Irons!
@@CM_CHESS the first 3 Maiden albums will always win for me but the Book of Souls is right up there with the early albums, as an old Maiden fan I absolutely love it, even after 6 years....its just great to still get new quality albums from this legendary band.
Perhaps my favourite of the album. So many beautiful parts. The intro and outro. That middle part with the outro melody. Bruce doubling the guitar melody. And it overall sounds wonderful.
And the different parts of the instrumentals in the song, the chord progressions, changes of signatures, at first coming as if from nowhere, actually complement the lyrics in such a beautiful manner...As if musical representations of the conflicting thoughts, emotions ...such a build up of an inner struggle...with a gentle resolution..will there be peace, or just a helpless resignation...Oh, it's so gorgeous and so doomed...Thank you, Iron Maiden !
the ending is beautiful. one of the most amazing melodie’s ever written, thank you Iron Maiden for creating such wonderful music! i’ll always be a fan, and cherish your music. Up The Irons!
My son is an Iron Maiden fan (early 20’s) He was released from his coma the same day Senjutsu was released. He was so jazzed to hear about it. The world is hereby forewarned...go ahead & F around...what goes around, comes around. Your shit is falling back on you at least 7 fold.
Glad to hear the young Maiden fan has made it through and I hope he's getting better by the minute. How did he get ill? People giving a shit about Covid-19? Either way, best wishes. Up the Irons.

Maiden in purest form - emotion, melody, great performance. Smith pouring his soul into the solo as always. Actually, you can just feel so much emotion has been put into this, one can only marvel at the effects.

¿Cuántos registros vocales llega a tener una persona? Dickinson, en este álbum nos deleita con decenas de ellos. En cada canción es capaz de cantar de manera diferente según el tramo donde nos encontremos. A su edad y en sus circunstancias. Virtuosismo puro.
the best rock group of all, they don't need makeup or paint their faces, they are authentic, real people, each one stands out in their field as a star without equal, the years do not pass by them, there are no out of sync here. Long live the King and his faithful thoroughbred steeds 🧛🏻♂️👍😊💪

This solo composition by Steve is fantastic! It starts with acoustic guitar and keyboard, accompanying Bruce's spectacular voice! A chorus follows showing a different Maiden with face more than natural progressive bands that explore the eclectic mystique and pure sound.

I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to listen to another great work of Maiden. This album could have never been done due to Bruce's condition. This song in particular is so beautiful it makes me very emotional. Thank you again Iron Maiden, for all these years!
40 % X Factor - 30% Final Frontier - 10% AMOLAD - 10% No Prayer FTD - 10% Virtual XI .. E ficou espetacular, vocal do Bruce impecável; pra mim a melhor do álbum .
I adore those sections in the middle of the track that bring you right back to the very earliest Iron Maiden sound and style then jumping back into the present day, absolute genius 🤘😑👌
I'm not the biggest maiden fan but boy this is a classic masterpiece well done to iron maiden for this its beyond beautiful I love the ending of it I love the lyrics as the clouds drift away now until we meet again it's just perfect. I dont think they can top this it's nothing I heard before absolutely amazing and incredible. I love days of future past and the time machine great album
The last lines "As the clouds all drift away now / until we meet again" make me emotional. A few years ago, I volunteered to help out at a nursing home where my relative worked. Even though I was a nervous wreck and obviously unfamiliar with the work, the elderly residents there treated me as if I had been part of their family all along. Although their memories were marred by dementia and other illnesses that come with old age, they told me stories, joked around, and treated me with utmost kindness while I fumbled around with the tea machine. When it was time for me to leave, the staff insisted I teach them an English phrase (I live in Japan, where practically nobody speaks English). "また会う日まで" was what they suggested -- in English, "until we meet again". I knew that they would not remember the phrase, and I would be lucky if they remembered my name by the next day. But as the residents waved and recited "until we meet again" as I left the foyer, I knew: they would not forget me, either consciously or not. The song's lyrics tell of the native American race that was nearly wiped out. People disappear. Memories disappear. But bonds stay forever.
Remember names of all our dead now And enemies that fled Reaching for our sky forever free A sadness that is proud As the clouds all drift away now Until we meet again... Nothing more to add
Can't wait till they perform this live in front of a sold out, capacity arena, and hear the whole crowd singing the outro of this song along with Bruce... goosebumps and tears man, goosebumps and tears!
One of the best songs maiden has ever done, on an album that is absolutely addictive to my ears, Steve Harris bass sound on this song is the business, and The band gives their All on this album, and It shines through when you hear it. do not dont leave home without it.

[Verse 1]
All is not it seems to be on the outside
Sometimes what appears to be is a show
What shows in the face is only a mirror
We all have some better places to go
[Verse 2]
We don't know just what we have ’til we've lost it
Until that time comes and know that it's gone
So hard to say things that we should have uttered long ago
Tear myself away from thoughts in my head
[Instrumental Break]
[Verse 3]
The people worshiping the sun
And all the children point up to the sky
They see the eagle as it floats on the wind
And they follow with their spirits high
[Verse 4]
Buffalo roam on the plain
We walk into the flames but dance for rain
The hallowed dead in sacred ground and the elders
And we wash away their sins for them
[Pre-Chorus]
Feel the spirits of the old ones standing proud upon their race
And the testament to ancestors, that are never to retrace
Burn the flame of innocence, as they ride into the sun
Thinking now of our forefathers that are lying dead upon
Holy ground and sacred earth now
Revisit stolen youth
[Chorus 1]
Lost in a lost world
Buried on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground
[Instrumental Break]
[Guitar Solos]
[Chorus 1]
Lost in a lost world
Buried on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground
[Chorus 2]
Lost in a lost world
Standing on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground
[Verse 5]
Will we ever heal our old wounds
Like forever darkness worn
Fighting for their lives again
So come on now don’t be afraid
This is where destiny lies
Just to let us breathe again
Put upon this earth to wander
And to walk, forever lost
[Verse 6]
With the ashes of our enemies
To live among our ghosts
Of our past fear nothing
Life is but a better path to joy
Nowhere to go nowhere to run
Our whole nation overrun
Itself existence under threat
And soon will be none of us left
[Outro]
Remember names of all our dead now
And enemies that fled
Reaching for our sky forever free
A sadness that is proud
As the clouds all drift away now
Until we meet again
Reminds me of no more lies...

New fans, just listen to the whole album Senjutsu. You'll know what Iron Maiden is and what Heavy Metal can do! Up The Irons!!! \m/
Well said! Up the Irons!!!
Да!
Hmmm....
The most powerful and emotional song I’ve ever heard from the band! It touched my soul!
8:15 this part bring me to the tears. The way that Bruce sings OMG
I honestly think this is one of the most beautiful melodies ever created in metal history... Astonishing to listen to...
Same! The emotion in his voice and the poetry in the lyrics is so beautiful, yet so sad.
Broo. That is my favourite part as well 🙌
When Bruce sings "until we meet again..." that makes me tear up.
I genuinely teared up and had goosebumps when I heard that
Listening to Steves awesome epics in 2021 is always some sort of emotional homecoming for me. I've been a fan since 1986, and be it victory, triumph, pain, agony, death, defeat, love, hate, struggle, pride - Maiden were always there with and for me. Always!! THANX for that and UP THE IRONS!! Forever.
100% recognizable 🤘
08:15 Is where perfection starts . One of the most beautiful vocalist parts of the entire iron Maiden career
Yes with starblind lyrics and some others are a perfect lines finish of the song deeply feelings in those last 3 verses
Can we all just stop for a moment and appreciate the last minute of this song? I think we have witnessed the best Maiden outro to date... And it only took a bass, a guitar, some synth pads, a vocalist that’s been through a lot an a whole lotta heart.
I couldn't agree more 👍
Dave Murray’s outro on The Prophecy tho?
@@megamillionfreak and let's not forget the brilliant Outro to the Man Who Would Be King
Adrian is one of the most humble guitar kings on the globe. Should you ask him can he play, the answer is always no.
Born in 77. I am crying! Love you guys!
74...
73, not crying though
Born in 66. Love this song and album.

Words cannot describe how epic this song is. This is definitely one of my favorite songs off this album I really love that instrumental section in the middle.
I really like the riff after the intro also.
I will love this song come alive in concert.
The middle instrumental is sublime. The chord progression alone could be used as the main structure for an epic 5 minute song creation
This is a million times better than mainstream rock and metal!
How is this not mainstream by metal standards?
Last time I checked, Iron Maiden is extremely mainstream.
@@raegandalbo9731 Maybe its good. I consider all maintream sh*t.
30 years of Iron Maiden and never enough of it.
40+YRS for me Up the Irons!!!

I don't think people realize how legendary this is. I feel bad for those who only listen to mainstream music.
Iron maiden is part of the metal mainstream ^^

"Lost In A Lost World"
All is not it seems to be on the outside
Sometimes what appears to be is a show
What shows in the face is only a mirror
We all have some better places to go
We don't know just what we have 'til we've lost it
Until that time comes and know that it's gone
So hard to say things that we should have uttered long ago
Tear myself away from thoughts in my head
The people worshiping the sun
And all the children point up to the sky
They see the eagle as it floats on the wind
And they follow with their spirits high
Buffalo roam on the plain
We walk in to the flames but dance for rain
The hallowed dead in sacred ground and the elders
And we wash away their sins for them
Feel the spirits of the old ones standing proud upon their race
And the testament to ancestors ~ that are never to retrace
Burn the flame of innocence ~ as they ride into the sun
Thinking now of our forefathers that are lying dead upon
Holy ground and sacred earth now
Revisit stolen youth
Lost in a lost world
Buried on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground...
Lost in a lost world
Buried on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground...
Lost in a lost world
Standing on sacred ground
Lost in a lost world
Lying on sacred ground...
Will we ever heal our old wounds
Like forever darkness worn
Fighting for their lives again
So come on now don't be afraid
This is where destiny lies
Just to let us breathe again
Put upon this earth to wander
And to walk ~ forever lost
With the ashes of our enemies
To live among our ghosts
Of our past fear nothing
Life is but a better path to joy
Nowhere to go nowhere to run
Our whole nation overrun
Itself existence under threat
And soon will be none of us left
Remember names of all our dead now
In enemies that fled
Reaching for our sky forever free
A sadness that is proud
As the clouds all drift away now
Until we meet again
@@hieinh Oh shut it. It gets old.
Absolutely fantastic song, they are like very fine wine older and getting better:) it was worthy to wait few years for this album
Another gem on the heavy metal crown! Feel so happy to be an Iron Maiden fan! Can you imagine how some people are living never heard about I. M.
I absolutely bow down in all eternity for such a masterpiece of art! The melody combined with Bruce's lyrics from 3:37 on are otherworldly! This album is by far the best music experience in total which I've ever listened to. UP THE IRONS!!
This is a masterpiece.
Amigos ! De onde esses magos do maiden conseguem tirar essas perolss??
So pode ser de outro planeta ! UP THE IRONS!! fantástico !! Lindo !! Maravilhoso !!!
Não tem como desapontar! Estou há 2 dias escutando o álbum inteiro. Alguém me para, por favor! Hahhahahaha São perfeitos! ❤️
Ufff que después de todos estos años aún sigamos a este nivel es......INCREIBLE. IRON MAIDEN la mejor banda de todos los tiempo.
Always amazes me how they stay true to their sound all while progressing and advancing musically. You know 100% this is maiden. Crazy how they are still able to give us something new with that nostalgic feel.
PAIXAO, PODER, MAGIA, ENERGIA, ISSO É O IRON MAIDEN, ESSA É SIMPLIMENTE A MAIOR BANDA DO HEAVY METAL, UP THE IRONS.
Os caras se superam demais!
Vida longa ao Iron Maiden. TOCA RAUL, SEMPRE!
One of the most beautiful and perfect songs ever released by Iron Maiden! Masterpiece!
Try 80s maiden first
The ending made me cry the first time with Maiden, after 38 years of being a fan. Beautifully tragic and amazing lyrics
Proudly stands next to the most awesome epics from their discography.
I love this song but it always makes me cry. That intro... the whole song.
It's fucking awful. What's wrong with you. (Rhetorical)
How is this not the greatest band of all time? Steve aside from being the best bassist of all time is also a master song writer and bruce’s voice is beyond magical just that ending bring tears to my eyes. i really hope this play this live on their next tour. Already my favorite song in the already masterpiece of an album
My favorite track from the album , the riffs and solos really slay here!
Fully agree! The riffs are so solid Maiden and the solos, well what can you expect... :) Still 4 songs to go...
When a stranger in a strange land becomes lost in a lost world.
come on, this might be good, but stranger in a strange land is just another level.
The first time I heard the ending of this song I had tears in my eyes. It really hit me like nothing else. Thank you.

Up the Irons!

this album impressed me , surprised me & kick ass !
I haven't gotten this emotional for a Maiden song since probably Blood Brothers. goddamn.

Perhaps my favourite of the album. So many beautiful parts. The intro and outro. That middle part with the outro melody. Bruce doubling the guitar melody. And it overall sounds wonderful.
What an awesome musical section
I’m Assyrian and I started dancing our traditional dance to those awesome guitar riffs
Greatest empire in history but your ancesters were brutal lol.
@@maxrav1831 Yes they were ! specially the New Assyrian period which lasted 300 years
wish Maiden wrote a song about any of those periods
And the different parts of the instrumentals in the song, the chord progressions, changes of signatures, at first coming as if from nowhere, actually complement the lyrics in such a beautiful manner...As if musical representations of the conflicting thoughts, emotions ...such a build up of an inner struggle...with a gentle resolution..will there be peace, or just a helpless resignation...Oh, it's so gorgeous and so doomed...Thank you, Iron Maiden !

Very dance of death-y sounding songs on this album, love it
For 22 years, Out Of The Silent Planet has been my favorite Iron Maiden song but this right here...this I think takes that top spot. Perfection.
They always make me cry
Such a nice story there my friend…God bless you…Up The Irons…!!!
Your cone goes hard
Remember names of all our dead now
And enemies that fled
Reaching for our sky forever free
A sadness that is proud
As the clouds all drift away now
Until we meet again...
Nothing more to add
Can't wait till they perform this live in front of a sold out, capacity arena, and hear the whole crowd singing the outro of this song along with Bruce... goosebumps and tears man, goosebumps and tears!
epic and memorable moment will be in maiden history
This one has an ambient beginning. Then the rest of it is classic IRON MAIDEN songwriting. A lot more like it.
The closing of this song is very, very beautiful, a masterpiece. It was becomes a "Maiden Essentials".
After lots of replays, I think this is definitely the best song of Senjutsu. It was a though choice between this one and Hell on Earth, though.
Still have to go with hell on earth
If eternity should fail, Iron Maiden will still be there 💖
One of the best songs maiden has ever done, on an album that is absolutely addictive to my ears, Steve Harris bass sound on this song is the business, and The band gives their All on this album, and It shines through when you hear it. do not dont leave home without it.
