  • In this week's vlog we try more Greggs! We decided to eat weird foods from Greggs we've never tried before.
Watch us eat more food from Greggs! After one of our last videos where Brandon tried Greggs for the first time, we got many suggestions from you telling us to try other items. There are also many newish weird items at Greggs which we couldn't say no to! We eat so many different things in this vide, including Cinnamon Swirl Latte, different bakes (Cheese and Onion, Vegan Steak Bake...), Chicken Goujons and Potato Wedges, Tuna Crunch Baguette, Greggs Crisps, Greggs Yum Yums, and so much more!
Did we miss your favourite food item from Greggs?

guys, something you will not know about greggs, they dont throw food out, what ever is left on the day, from the normal store high street places, then goes, because they are in date still for the next day, go to what is called greggs outlet, where you can buy, the food a a day old at half price, no its not warm or heated, buy it take it home and warm yourself, this is all products sold, because under the rules, is can be kept for 3 days, but thet cant re heat, but you can at home, so the bakes, the sandwiches, go to greggs outlet, and sold half price, which is great for people, who are maybe struggling, can still do affordable meals for the family, or buy nice bread half price, we had one over the road, i was obsessed lol,

My go to baguettes from Greggs are the chicken and bacon or the tuna crunch which you tried. The hot sweet chilli chicken is also worth a try. The food in the UK can be incredibly cheap. Grocery prices are so much cheaper than back in Canada. We recently went to visit my (Brandon) family, and it was insane. It's one of the major reasons we enjoy spending time in the UK. Lately, we've been booking pet sits, which means free accommodation (which is by far the biggest cost normally). Goujons and tenders are the sort of same thing. It's the cut of meat under the chicken breast close to the ribcage. A little sliver of muscle.
That said, a goujon can also be a fish, a similar cut of muscle from near the tail. Tenders are always chicken, as far as I'm aware.
A lot of goujons and tenders aren't really goujons or tenders and are just breastmeat that has been chopped into the shape of a tender and then breaded. It's sort of like if rump steak was always prepared in one specific way, and then eventually eveything prepared in that way got called a rump steak, even if it wasn't a cut from the rump.
I'm a vegetarian, I have no idea why I know this stuff.

      Search for Gregg's secret menu.
If you're in Newcastle again, try a Peach Melba. Amazing.

We'll actually be back in the UK in September, but mostly in Scotland. We'll try to make it to Newcastle this time 😊

Trust people to suggest the most boring pastries (sausage, beans and cheese and cheese and onion).

We tried the most common items the first time around (sausage rolls, steak bake, chicken bake, pizza), so this video is focused more on the "less popular" items. Though quite a few people did suggest those bakes! Haha.

It's not so bad, for what it is! It certainly will never compete with a home cooked meal, but for a quick - onthego type of snack, we enjoyed it. I know the prices have went up, but there are few places that are cheaper in the UK.
      Thanks for watching. 😃
