Yeah, I think if someone gets hurt over a misunderstanding then the person who called should be held responsible and charged with attempted manslaughter

Calling the dumbest most violent “ profession “ to bring weapons to solve minor problems. What could go wrong.
Even if the law technically says a bicyclist can use a vehicle lane, it should be obvious that a bicycle completely blocking a lane of faster-moving car traffic, forcing everyone who comes up behind it to wait indefinitely for an opening to pass in the oncoming lane, is extremely unsafe and makes no sense in terms of traffic flow.
@@anon4854 If it's in the legal code the cops ARE wrong. Not all States have the same codes so don't think if illegal in one State it is illegal in all States.
@@tanucci733 I mean they might not be right in a technical sense but they're not the aholes was my point. Not all laws are logical either. A cyclist should not be taking up an entire lane of traffic slowing everyone down and forcing people into another lane of traffic just to go the speed limit. That's just dangerous for everyone including the cyclist.
I have no problem with a LEO stopping to see if I need help. That's happened twice in my life, and both times the engagements with them were professional and courteous. A third time, my spare was flat, and I was stranded WAY out in the country, miles from town. A Sheriff Deputy stopped, and took me/my flat into town, we aired it up, he brought me BACK to my vehicle, and even changed the tire for me (I did not need him to do this, he just did it). I thanked him profusely for his help/aid, and we parted ways smiling. All that said, ANYONE that tries waddling up on me, wiping their ass/es with our Constitution and Bill of Rights, legitimate Law(s), Common Sense, Honor/Integrity, will receive the full measure of THIS Citizen/Veteran's contempt/DISrespect and if they try pushing it into assault against me, everything in my considerable toolbox to defend and preserve MY health, safety and life. We get *(ie EARN)* exactly the kind of society, govt. and nation *WE* tolerate and enable.
I was stranded in the middle of the night in the middle of winter and in the middle of farm country......Two state police pulled up and said they were not a taxi service and drove away laughing
@@danruetenik3583 Today's 'Law Enfarcement' at its finest, Comrades! Did you see that horrible story/video about the woman who was a victim of abuse (Spouse? I don't know.) Cops stopped her as she was walking down the roadways with a few containers of property, she was obviously injured, begged them for help, and they told her to keep walking. To the next town. Then left her there. Her 'Husband?' arrived a little while later, and murdered her. Only a FOOL would still depend or rely on this B.S. Govt. to protect them.
9 out of 10 times the cops are called it's a non-issue. The cops cannot simply say "OK, glad everything is OK". They have to ID. You could be raking leaves and they would ask where you're coming from, where are you going, where do you work... and show me your ID because a neighbor heard a noise.
Bees always buzz around cars loaded with illegal narcotics, right? If this were the case, then police officers would use bees instead of dogs. What possible crime could these officers believe this woman was involved with?
The idea of defunding isn't the answer to these idiots. The problem is in the hiring, training and basic knowledge of law. They use personal beliefs and assumptions to enforce things they believe instead of KNOWING.
Regarding the cyclist, he knew the law. Especially if he was riding at or near the speed limit. It is much safer in most cases to hold the lane until it was safe, and you do NOT have to give motorists room if it makes you less safe on such a road. Cop insists "yield" and yet on that road (or similar) yielding is dangerous because motorists will pass too close or too far into oncoming traffic and then have to veer back into the cyclist. "You're going to start issues with others..." means the motorists will not follow the laws and start issues then blame the cyclist.
People need to stop calling the cops on people over nothing. No one's hurt and no one's calling for help; at most you saw what looked like an animated argument. Police don't need to be involved in every non-incident that got your attention for 30 seconds. You never know what you could be inflicting on someone with that call to the police. Unless the situation really requires their involvement, mind your business.
@ that’s what I was getting at. Should have remained silent from contact. HEARSAY is not a valid reason for a stop. Zero reasonable articulable suspicion of a crime
These guys should not even posted this! They are unfortunately too weak to deal with cops! The cops totally punked them and they folded like cheap suit! They both have ID.
1st Video : At 1:18 "We got a call". At 1:28 "Why do you think somebody would be......" At 4:08 "Just do me a favor, though I know it sounds weird, but can you just not reach around...." OK, they got a call, why are you asking the victim why the call was made and not asking the caller why and "can I see some ID"? As usual the Thug is getting nervous and after he asks her not to reach he really gets fidgety and his right leg starts jerking. Take cover if an acorn hits the ground. 2nd Video : Officer goes from law enforcement to feelings enforcement. Imagine that? Another cop that doesn't know the law!! Nuff' Said. Just Sayin'.
Theses cops know this lady, know she's Homeless, so Why this fake Concern about A Bee, because we have theses Towns, Suburban usually who have A Policy's to Run them out of Town, anytime a Cop says to U to have a Better Day, You should say I Rebuke you Demon!!! They don't Mean That!!!
Yes, they can they could have asked if everything ok before they called ignorant hired guns who use why could of maybe so as reality to intimate people
I think the guy on the bike was in the wrong. The sidewalk was available and it's illegal to cross a double yellow line. Cyclists are so belligerent some times. Did you hear him say, "I was here first"?
@monicaalexander7950 He's creating an unnecessary hazard. That's where he's in the wrong. Listen to the legal definition, "... when there's no other safer place to ride.", and there's clearly a sidewalk. I ride, and the hill I ride to get back has a Bus Lane and I am forced to cause busses to go around me. But going down the hill, there's sidewalks and I ride there no matter what the traffic is. But you get these pricks that think the roads are there's to own. For those guys, I use the air compressed Train Blaster. I've had them wreck quit a few times, but what can they do? Cops see it too so they Low Priority the call I would imagine because I've never been stopped for it.☺️

Absolutely.
Overfunded, overstaffed, power crazy, and accountable to no one.

No bike lane? You are free to use lane. No bike lane where he was stopped. I have never been bothered doing it in any city!!!

Stop talking to cops, period!!!

They already gave up too much information by giving up their ID because the stop was off Heir, say

So what part of the investigation is solved with the ID check? If its a "domestic situation" how does the ID help?
Drug sniffing bees out here now???
Isn’t the cop blocking more lane now than the biker was?
