- Crochet a thin beaded cord with slip stitch by following the tutorial from the video. Knitted beaded plait is very fashionable at any time and at any age. The beaded cord can be turned into a bracelet, a necklace or even a lariat - as you wish.
In this video, I show how I crochet a thin beaded rope with 6 beads in a circle. I use hook number 6, you can use the hook a little less or more, depending on your preference, the main thing is that it is comfortable for you to hold the hook in your hand and that it grips the thread well. The thread I use is denim cotton number 36, it is very strong and comfortable for knitting. Beads I use glass Czech beads number 10, it is round, even and the beaded rope turns out to be smooth and pretty. I select the caps for the size of the finished beaded rope, in the video the size of the caps is 0.7 cm (this is the outer diameter of the caps).

Колпачки я подбираю под размер готового бисерного жгута, в видео размер колпачков 0,7 см (это наружний диаметр колпачков).

Hi, thank you for the tutorial. I watched the gold and white crotchet necklace you made before this one. You used full stitch for that not half. I'm wondering is there any difference? Is it because the gold is larger than this with 13 stitches instead of 6?

Amazing tutorial, but I dont have denim thread sizing like this in my area. What is number 36? Can I use 0.7mm Nylon thread used to for leather? Any help would be appreciated
Hello! Some people use nylon thread, but it makes a stronger rope - it’s difficult to get into the loops. Denim thread is a thread slightly thicker than regular sewing thread. it makes the tourniquet softer and easier for beginners. You can also find your favorite crochet hook and thread suitable for it. The main thing is that the beads fit into the thread.

Hello! Thank you! I buy from Aliexpress and Ebay. for thin beaded ropes, I buy caps with a diameter of 0.6-0.7 mm, and I always choose the “tulip” shape, since they can be slightly moved apart and increased in diameter if necessary.
