    as usual everything you're saying is hitting the correct spots snd techniques.i have purchased your nerd Maths for swing ( loving it), quick question do you have one for double clean and press or should i just figure it out myself by using a similar formula.Im inclined to prefer proper instructions rather than just winging it .hny 👊

    I also have my whole spine fusing. I am interested in the cross body stabilisation, I need to keep mobility. Eventually will have to have surgeries though! Aqua Exercises relieve pain. I wonder can KBs be used in water and pool? Just a thought probably shot down in a flurry of comments 😅😂 I haven't seen one of tour TH-cam posts for so long? I've got the settings to follow you. Thanks from😢 a broken ex-military man!

    • @MeMe-Moi
      @MeMe-Moi ปีที่แล้ว

      They probably could, though I'm not certain how the equipment would hold up to exposure to salt or pool chemicals. I know some of the aquatic fitness classes I have seen used waist to collarbone water depths to stabilize participants while they used water specific dumbbells. It might take some experiments to figure out the optimal water depth for the movements, and you might want to start with a lighter weight than usual to account for possible water resistance on certain movements. And maybe don't start in deep water.

    Using a double set of kettlebells saves some minutes of your time at the cost of having your core muscles engaged less to stabilize against tilting - as you correctly said yourself. Single kettlebell rules.

    • @lewiselliott9038
      @lewiselliott9038 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes, but the total load with double bells is higher. Double bells are better for packing on muscle and strength.

    • @diogeneslantern18
      @diogeneslantern18 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Do both.

    • @codyburke7738
      @codyburke7738 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      depends. single bell more core engagement, more flexible, good for high rep snatch/clean and jerk, less overall systemic load. potential for building more power/strength/muscle mass is greater with doubles. depends on goals.

    • @lewiselliott9038
      @lewiselliott9038 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@codyburke7738 To be fair, I have been using single bells recently and left the doubles for a bit. What I havr found is that yes your core is much more activated and leas strain on CNS. I may do a month of singles then a month of doubles. See what happens!!

    • @PhilosoFox
      @PhilosoFox 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Instead of dual kettle bells, I would probably use a pair of dumbbells or a machine, if total load is your idea. That being said, the higher velocity options that come with a single kettle bell will probably allow for higher forces too. And if that's not enough, just grab yourself a mace or clubbell (Just modify Marc's movement patterns for a reduced risk of dental emergency care).
