I've felt this way since these videos first became popular over a decade ago. Not enough people are original in these art spaces. The most a lot of these artists will do is take existing characters and put their own spin on them, instead of just creating their own original characters.
This would make such a badass Kung fu Panda character, not only because of the amazing design which is straight up fire but also a japanese warrior would be so cool to see as an expansion of the series worldbuilding
Maybe, since Kung Fu Panda is set in China, instead of a jaguar but a leopard, since they’re based on china. :3 The character Tai Lung is a snow leopard, if you didn’t know!

It reminded me of the Japanese tokusatsu Lionmaru where the characters are half felines and ninja samurais. They even had a jaguar character too. Very nice work!
When seeing the thumbnail for a second I thought it was King from the Tekken franchise. Speaking of, you should defenitely take a look at it's characters! Yoshimitsu, devil jin, king or armor king are all very interesting looking characters to sculpt

Now there's an interesting idea. How would a Jaguar become a Samurai? Like, was an Aztek Jaguar Warrior (literal in this case) picked up by a Spanish Jesuit or Portugese Merchant Trader, then taken to Japan in some manner? I imagine it like this: A Jaguar warrior ends up on a Portuguese Merchantman and they arrive in a 1600s Nanban Port in Hokkaido or Yokohama. From there his Japanese adventure begins, sort of like Captain Blackthorn/Anjin in James Clavell's novel "Shogun".
