How quickly the establishment used to build back in the day. Now the masses are too plentiful, and wholly neglected. The Rum Corps still rule 🤔 especially in beautiful Tasmania.
@ 👍 Thank you . Bridgetown is 270 km South East of Perth. or 100 kms South of Bunbury..Bunbury was in this show several times. Like a lot of Australia 🇦🇺 Evolution continues as does technology and making way for new lives and stories to be told. But Bunbury still retains many beautiful historical buildings with Histories to match… Bridgetown is particularly beautiful because the town is Flanked by the Blackwood river. And beautiful rolling hills. It’s actually quite rare to have a few acres on level ground. I sit atop a hill. It’s only 200 meters above sea level. But the scenery is truly beautiful.. I’m so blessed to have the opportunity to live in south a beautiful part of this country Australia 🇦🇺. I’ve worked all over this Country. WOW what a wonderful place to call home. 🇦🇺🇦🇺❤️❤️❤️ Thank you have a beautiful festive season be merry be happy and be safe. X
This year was a very somber year. When Remembrance Day came I went to the local War Memorial in town..In years gone by it used to be packed. So we could remember the sacrifices made. And remember the lessons learnt..Only myself was there this year…I felt so ashamed for those names I read out quietly to myself that gave their lives…WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS NATION I LOVE WITH ALL MY HEART. THIS NATION I HAVE BEEN RAISING A FAMILY IN. The lucky country…The once proud example of people of all nations being one… 😢
This is good but half of the images are photos of the time and half are photos of watercolour paintings of the time. Either way it's all Australian history.
Great journey, thanks for sharing this.
When Australia was still a promising place.

Cities and towns seem really alive. The new years day parades are really interesting.

Many memories of Burnie in Tas, would like to find the time to get back again
It's taken me over 70 years, but I think I've been to about half those places.
Great you have been to so many, there are so many great places out there to be discovered.
