Harmonics in a barrel is the same no matter what the power plant is.
You can use a Danco #30 Oring to the same effect as the insert

Recently did the same test, same conclusion but didn't film it for my channel. Good video 🎯💯👊🏻💥
Good test, try no band with a heavier muzzle device just to see. Those groups looked good . 👍 The bands mess up stock 10/22’s in most cases also.

I think eliminating the barrel band all together is your best bet
You need it to protect the barrel if you drop or bump it hard. You just don't want it to touch the shroud.
