The first crew is a open world racing game that can be played online or offline, there is a story that can be played alone or with friends. The entire USA is the map of the game and it's super cool since you can drive to every state. There actually is another game In the series and it's the crew 2, definitely worth checking out!

That first trailer is one of my favorite game trailer of all time. I was so excited when i first saw this and I've enjoyed the game a lot and I'm still playing The Crew 2 ! Forza and need for speed are great franchises too !
The first "the Crew" game was amazingly fun. It was, like you mentioned, a "fast and the furious" game, which is why it hit like a freight train. It had a pretty good story, which to me is to this day, an amazing thing. A story in a racing game. And the game itself was so much fun, me and some friends spent hours exploring the world, racing and building up our cars. The second game is, while fun, not nearly at the same level as the first. At least in my opinion.
Would’ve been nice to see some of the story in the trailers. Didn’t see a story trailer when doing quick look for too trailers but they probably have one 🤔
literally one of my "before I die" wishes is to be able to live long enough to see a game with the visuals of The Crew's 1st trailer (the Black Camaro garage assembly one) and also The Division 1 "before getting nerfed" trailers , these are some of the best trailers I've ever seen...
If you guys want to know what is the music that use it on the E3 trailer, this song called "Warrior concerto" by "The Glitch Mob". and the launch trailer song called "Heavy Feathers" was made by the same artist (The Glitch Mob).

Looking at this makes me think you should look at the introductory races of the Forza Horizon series. It has that vibe of "come to the giant car festival, VIP driver" these trailers touch upon.
The Crew is one of my favorite racing games, along with Forza Horizon series and NFS series. But out of all racing games nothing can come closer to NFS Most Wanted 2005 and Underground 2003. These two NFS games were ahead of their time.
I never been into that much in racing or driving games. But looking at these trailers make me getting hype back to racing games 😄 also this franchise seem to make me think of “Need for Speed” franchise that you can customize your dream car/truck out there to roam and have fun

This was definitely a shock to find on this channel. The Crew 1 was an incredibly fun game at the time, but as The Crew 2 was released, the player base dropped drastically. This game is strictly multiplayer in a free roam exploration sense, but all story and off story mission content can be done solo. And finally to answer Bethany's question, you can play the role as a cop, but you need the "Calling All Units" expansion to do so. On top of that, you don't really find much of anyone doing the extra content for that.
I wish they intro scene was shown here. The story is really good for a racing game. Here is the TL;DR of the story without much spoilers *Besides the beginning* : Your friend (or brother, can't remember) was killed by a gang member, and they left their gun. as police arrived you were thought to be the killer so you are put in jail. Your approached by and FBI (or police, i dont remember which) lady which provides an offer. Get back on the streets to track down the biggest racing gangs to take down their bosses, and earn your freedom.
I think you guys should check out Miitopia. It's a sillier game starring Miis, the custom characters you make on the Wii, and I think you'd get a kick out of it.
love this game I just wish they upgrade the graphics or remaster it smh playing as a cop is funny sad that the trailers are better to watch than fast and the furious movies smh lol I'm surprised they didn't show ya the story of what the game is all about than racing lol I thought the story was cool and different from NFS
This game was really fun, but I think it lacks of real physics for cars, especialy with Drifting and driving on special terrain, like dirt, sand of wet road

I prefer The Crew’s plot compared to its sequel. It’s a more darker tone with betrayal, guns, drugs, bad language, sexual themes, etc. It just speaks to me way more than the happy-go-lucky carnival atmosphere in the 2nd game. Not to say that it’s all bad, the Wild Run expansion was a nice change of pace, but to have an entire game built around it is….boring. We have Forza Horizon for that. I hope it returns to its roots, but tbh devs these days don’t really know how to tell a decent gritty story so I’m not holding my breath.
