I was crying over chemistry today. My textbook is as clear as mud and my teacher is a weirdo. You have shown me such an easy way to do this, and you've preserved my sanity. Please never give up teaching. You have a gift for it.
LOL! I have been watching this guys videos throughout my course and thought the same thing! Everyone else has the most annoying voices, and this guys is like perfect! haha
9:22 At this point I don't know why but I got literal goosebumps, it seems like the misunderstood concepts of past 2 days are just cleared! Thanks Sir Love you 3000
Thank you so much! You always make the things messed up by my bossy teacher so clear and then easy to understand! I’d rather study by myself than with her!
nice explanation of the relationship of the variables and great explanation of the derivation. Still not sure why they call it 'root mean square' though because you aren't squaring anything except in the intermediate form of the equation.
So what is the significant's of having the Vrms ? If Vrms is not average and it is not the most likely speed of a particle. What does Vrms tell us about the particle ? Like i know that Vrms = Velocity of the root mean speed, but what does that tell us about the particle ?
Root mean square of velocity tells us the average speed of each individual particle or molecule in a system. The reason why the value is squared and rooted is for 1. The velocities don't cancel each other out as the particles are all moving in equal and opposite directions (for each molecule moving to the left, there is an equal amount moving to the right). 2. The root gives you back a value close to the original value after you take the squared mean. I hope that helps :)
Hi there. I want u to pls help me in this question. Q) Derive the units of root mean square velocity when R=0.0822atmdm^3/mol.kelvin How to get m/s from this. Pls answer. I will be grateful.

Fr wish me luck
Gonna need it for Tom😭😭
Damn. You are doing the work of hundreds of Chem teachers out there. Thank you.
and physics teachers
You have a good voice for tutorials, some are annoying.

thank you, simple and striaight foward
Actually that was so useful..i have an quiz tomorrow 😂😢 thank youu🎉❤
the organic chemistry tutor my beloved
Wow the ending when he derived it... insane
This is soooo helpful...
Thanks

Mm uli mupondo iwe thanks for this 🇿🇲🇿🇲
This guy is awesome
Thanks Mr. You nailed it!

Amazing video thank you
Watching for sig figs would be much appreciated in your future videos!
Just do them on yo own
How can you make the unit into m/s?
I have the same question im not understanding how the units cancel to get m/s
Hi there. I want u to pls help me in this question.

How to get m/s from this. Pls answer. I will be grateful.
Very helpful!
Helpful
sir please can i tell me what are the significance of root mean speed, average speed and most probable speed
Yusuph Muhidini the velocity which is repeated max no of time is called most probable velocity.
√4RT/m=√4P/rho=√4KT/m=1.41√KT/m
Vrms>Vmost probable

What happened with KE = 3/2 k T ? isn't it KE = 3/2 (R/avogadro's number) T ?
i was wondering the same thing, but i think the essential concepts of when temp or mass changes stay the same since R (kB) are constants
R value 8.314 Avagadro's number value 6. 023×10^23 when u divide both u get 1.38×10^-23 which u call bolztsman constant and represent by Kb
What if I’m given molar mass of 40u for argon where u is 1.66x10^-27
I really need to know why vis the square on the velocity,
Why the velocity is squared?
you literally saved my damn worthless life
Kindly show the units so we see how they cancel each other out ?
sir can you explain me about chapter: kinetic theroy and topic is RMS velocity..in eamcet book
how did you know the temperature
Who else was dancing to the advert
Damn, finally got an answer with 3 digits in front of the decimal (ALL of the answers had 3 full digit values), it was still wrong?!?!?!?!
Where did J go in value of R
Can u please help me prove the formula
