Heute seh ich zum ersten Mal was für schöne lange Haare du hast Nicole🤗. Tolle Funde bei tollem Sonnenschein, besser geht nicht. Danke für das schöne Video und habt ein angenehmes Wochenende ihr zwei.👍
Hi Nicole and Craig, What an amazing time at the beach! I loved every minute of it. ❤ The magic words did it again! What an amazing bottle stopper! I think the bottle stopper and the clay marble are the 🌟 finds of the day! The glass and pottery pieces are beautiful! I hope you have a wonderful weekend, filled with sunshine and amazing finds! Sending you love and hugs, xoxo ❤️, Ilona
Yes the magic words must have a deep meaning and clearly call up the finds :) I think your eyes get more used to searching around by that point though and you find more things.... Much love to you too !! x
Wonder-Full finds! I look forward to watching a new episode each week, thank you both for making these! And I really love Craig's music, reminds me of Hawaiian melodies from my days on Kauai and has the same uplifting effect for me.
A lovely day at the beach leads to more beautiful Jewelry being created by the talented Nicole.....love Craig's background music...looking forward to next week ...Karl from eastern Canada👍👍👍❤❤❤
You can cut shape of big pottery pieces like that for jewelry creatives. 😊 make more background pop color clear with sea glass and small pieces with the pottery art. 😊
What a fantastic day at the sea, Craig and Nicole! There were some lovely finds on this adventure. And its always a treat seeing Nicole make her beautiful jewelry. The joy the two of you share in your mudlarking adventures is so nice to see. Thank you for your time and all you do to bring us the videos.
I don’t know if anyone ever says so but, gorgeous music Craig Mudlark! A thoroughly enjoyable lark as always. You found some gorgeous pieces this week! I didn’t know the bit of history regarding clay marbles. I have always wondered why they seem to come in so many different sizes. Brilliant job! Cheers folks, …Laura C from New Hampshire
I just would sit in the middle of the shell field and get all close up to the ground and hunt around me. Dig alittle, see what's below. Then scoot over and do it again! Lol.
Back again after a while out -One of the remote beaches near Campbeltown, took the long way round not the ferry! Dog help you dig for the rare glass! At least there is no chippy where you've seen the seagulls and the CROWCLUXCLAN present... FOLIAGE(foilage - was he from N'Ireland)... 23.00 that piece of pottery is like a shark's fin! 25.00 nice variety Nicole, like the shell! Notice you normally say at the end 'keep the lights on' - would you say it if lived in the Shetlands during the Summer ?
Well keep the ligths on during the summer even here ... it's almost daylight until after 10 atm and then from 4am ... Great to hear from you again Dean! Always such fun comments!! Thanks for the laugh :)
There's so many lovely beaches in Scotland. Hard to choose just 1. Haven't been to Kirkcaldy in years though. I love the patter you two have, always making me laugh with your banter. Thanks for another fab video.. they just aren't long enough. Could listen to you both all day!
That's so kind of you to say :) Kirkcaldy like every beach changes with every tide and the little burn does too and it influences where the finds are :)
Nice finds, I’ve only been to Kirkcaldy beach once and was obsessed with the kiln stilts! I found a clay marble a couple of days ago at Castle Street, I never thought much of them , always wished I was finding a Codd, but I’ve become increasingly fond of their smoothness and soft fawn and grey colours.
I love the pyramids so much! The ones with numbers and glazing are my favourite ones :) I do love Codd marbles more than clay marbles but lately we've been much luckier with clays!
I’m from Kirkcaldy, I’ll have to get myself down there and look for some glass. Our beach is beautiful though. You should go to Ravenscraig Park as it has a beach area plus it’s a beautiful park
That bottle stopper at the end, with the “T” on it,is it Lignum vitae? It’s my favorite wood, very fun to carve. They used to make bowling balls out of it! My only beach experience in Scotland was Loch Ness, found a few really nice stones there, actually. I also saw a rainbows end right onto the River Clyde,in Glasgow! Got a nice pic of that.
I think it might be Lignum Vitae! The texture is sort of brown with bits rather than solid black as it is for Vulcanite stoppers :) Oh Loch Ness would be amazing - never been up there!
Wait,WHAT??? You’ve never been to Loch Ness??? Listen,I know it’s touristy, but it’s incredible, the water is like black tea,the surrounding landscape is like a dream, the wind that blows across you is like a poem, you can read it,as it crosses over you.
Also, the bottle stopper, you can tell if it’s Lignum vitae if you place some oil on it. That will reveal the tight wood grain. If it’s vulcanite,it will be uniform,no grain.
@@scottishmudlarking was thinking more about the residue of radium coated instrument panels, that were incinerated and put in landfill ( I think it was nearer Dalgety bay to be fair ) I think the area around the sailing club had the highest contamination. SEPA do now claim it's safe, but avoid anything that looks like a dial.
I must admit, I like beachcombing more then mudlarking, but you find interesting things when you do both things thenI have so much to do in my garden and my neighbors so I am far behind when it comes to TH-cam-videos. ( my closest neighbor have a cabin close but they live one and a half hour away and in Norway so I plant for them, watering, take care of their robot-lawn mover etc. They have done stuff for me so that goes both ways. You are lucky that isn`t shaking like I do, can not do any hobbies any more, that is sad. Thanks for the videotrip.

Hahah ja so lange Haare, die stoeren meistens am Strand und ich habe sie oft hochgesteckt! Schoenes WE Gabi!

Haha I always look forward to seeing if Craig will say baw-tum. :-)
Chances are we will find a bottle bottom ;)
Such a beautiful day at the beach. And a marble! 🎉 One of these days I will visit these Scottish beaches and find some sea glass and sea pottery ❤
If you do come over you have to stop at Kirkcaldy :) x

I've never been out of the US so I can't say which beach is my favorite, but I like all the beaches you visit.
Oh I am sure there are thousands of beaches in the US too :) Maine has some amazing sea glass !
You can cut shape of big pottery pieces like that for jewelry creatives. 😊 make more background pop color clear with sea glass and small pieces with the pottery art. 😊
I've cut pottery pieces from the bottle dumps and made them into necklaces :) That is always amazing!
That tiny, green, pear-shaped piece of pottery was a wonderful find! 😊
It's such a cute wee find and the crazing is lovely :)

Thanks ever so much Sheila! SO very kind of you to say :) Glad you enjoyed the video!
My favourite beach is at Durness then burghead beach and Montrose were you were 🩷❤️💙beautiful glass finds like the stopper 👍🏻🤗🥰👋🏻👌😍💯
Oh Durness looks amazing and it's way up North!! Would love to wonder around there :)
reminds me of my childhood growing up in a beach town & many afternoons spent beach combing. thanx
So glad to have brought some lovely childhood memories back :)

That is so lovely to hear Laura! Thank you kindly for the fantastic comment re Craig's music :) Glad you enjoyed the video!
I loved seafield at kirkcaldy! I just got some pottery that match some in your thumbnail! We brought back 24# of sea glass, pottery, and rocks!
So glad you enjoyed Kirkcaldy and found some treasures :) Lovely memories of Scotland! x
I just would sit in the middle of the shell field and get all close up to the ground and hunt around me. Dig alittle, see what's below. Then scoot over and do it again! Lol.
I can sit in a place for ages and just be content :)
So many wonderful finds, it's hard for me to decide which ones I like best. Thank you Craig and Nicole for the adventure.
It's just nice to be out and about and the finds don't always matter :)
My favourite beach is Pianmeanach. Remote heaven.
Remote beaches are always amazing, you really get to immerse yourself into the sound of the Sea :)

Oh I do! It's my happy place for sure :)
Beautiful glass
Thanks so much!

Ravenscraig really is lovely and we made a film around that area a couple of years ago too ❤️

Hi guys, i just found your channel and subscribed : )
Thanks so much and a warm welcome to our channel :) Nicole & Craig
Hi. Why do you wear a ring on your thumb when you are making jewellery? Thanks for the interesting videos.
It's a jump ring opener - it saves your fingernails :) I would not want to be without it!
Hope it's no longer radioactive.
Uranium glass contains the same radioactivity than a banana and is perfectly safe to wear or drink out of.

Awww that's really kind of you to look after your neighbours garden! I am sure it's a lot of work :)
