Why play it in Eb? D is not a hard key. It sounds wrong. That being said, it’s well played and I like the looping, but a key change was completely unnecessary.
I'd agree if it wasn't written for strings. Completely switching the instrument type may also give certain freedom for changing the key. It's an interpretation, and it sounds even more joyful than the original. Tbh I struggle more with the "full stop" ending.

It is a good performance but the tempo you might want to slow it down a bit
