I understand that B-M wants to promote their newer releases, but I wonder if they realize how incredible are the Shinkiba and Zepp shows. It's a shame they completely ignore them. I mean, some of that stuff is simply legendary, the unofficial uploads of Don't You Tell Me, Turn Me On, Take Me Higher, Puzzle, etc etc had millions of views, and I bet a large percentage of their fanbase became their fans because of those.

Great reaction! Thank you! You haven’t even heard Puzzle yet. There are two versions, electric with the full band and acoustic with just Kanami and Saiki. Kanami let’s her sweet melodic voice shine when she provides back up vocals. These are highly recommended.
If you listen carefully, you will find the intro of the next song at the end. The next song is "Puzzle". This song is also a live performance that is as wonderful as "Moratorium". Unfortunately, it's not on TH-cam right now.

In the summer of 2019 I first discovered *BAND-MAID* and was addicted to the music followed by the reactions seeing reactors come and go a few would react to anything of *BAND-MAID* with the likes of *Old Mr B, Shadow John* to mention a few and some would react to maybe 4 or 5 videos and move on. Makes me wonder am I overrating this band? and then I listen to songs like *Moratorium* and my wondering mind confirms I am not overreacting. 😜

This song is from their "Just Bring it" album which has remained my personal favorite. So many killer songs and not a bad one on the whole album. Try "Secret my Lips" which is the closing song to this killer album! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂
Once again, Band Maid doing Band Maid things. One of the things that is that they don't seem to follow or care about rules of songwriting. They start the song with a prog Rock introduction, and seg-way into a metallic boogie,into an almost Zeppelin-esqu Black Dog stops complete with call and response. Moving on to a Pantera riffgroove with a killer guitar solo, followed by the most poppy choruses that they ever done. Most bands would not dream of constructing a song this way. Most bands would take each component and try to right a separate song based on each one. Not Band Maid. They take 4 or 5 genres and put them in one song. The 5 most adorable musical bad asses on the planet.
So you heard Moratorium & "I am getting punched in my ears & it is fantastic". Better not listen to "Domination" live then if you value your testicles.😆
I don't know what's better... falling into the "Gap", or being in their "Grip!" Either way, once you hear and see Band-Maid, they've got you in their "Clutches!"
At the very end you can hear a synth. That's the intro to Puzzle which, believe it or not, is even fractionally better IMO. If this one is a 10, Puzzle is a 10.1. It is likely on the same site you found this one. It's not on TH-cam. These two are my two favorite Band-Maid songs, and the mix is perfect in this concert.

Miku was the lead singer but realized her voice wasn't strong enough to carry the music she wanted to play so she fired herself and got Saiki to sing lead...their harmonies are spectacular 😍
Glad you found them. It has been a year almost exactly for me. I am an early 70s live concert dude who has seen Cream, Zepp, Deep Purple and others and Band-Maid is my new fav group. They kick butt and I have all their available music now. I agree totally with you and Great Reaction!
Puzzle from the same concert if you can find it. Puzzle & Anemone acoustic if you want to hear Kanami melt your heart. If you can get someone to find the live version of Don't You Tell Me (Kanami & Misa face off battle) well worth a watch. Play live & Freedom live on their official site has Misa driving the songs forward. Secret My Lips & Real Existence live are great. Heck anything.

This is your first reaction to this song and probably the 30th time for me, no exaggeration, and I get the same way you got on this reaction still. That is how powerful their music is. Sort of like Chid in Time by Deep Purple. I never tire of all the versions by DP even almost 50 years later. Also, I am learning Japanese because of BM.

I think I am right in thinking that before Band Maid none of them played rock. Miku, the founder was a singer but not a musician. The others are all multi instrumentalists and followed Miku with the rock idea. Makes their level of excellence all the more remarkable and Kanami is a truly remarkable talent. What a wonderful band of super talented musicians.

Great Reaction, totally agree with you on Misa and that can also apply to Akane and Kanami as well. This particular show at Zepp Tokyo was possibly the best mixed live show I have heard of theirs. Puzzle & Play from this show is must to be reviewed. The versions Moratorium and Puzzle & Play from this show are by far my favorite Band-Maid tracks.
Everytime I hear Miku whisper "Make up you mind", I think to myself "you had me at 'breaking new gate'". If you find the acoustic version of Puzzle from this same show you get to hear Kanami sing all the back ups! I truly hope they put this version back up on their channel soon, provided that they don't have a better one coming later.
It's my favorite Band Maid song. In this case, gotta love lack of Chinese copy right law, billibilli. Don't worry i've paid for both streamed Band Maid concerts.
A few too many stops but impressive that you know their names and highlight the techniques and quality of Misa and Kanami in particular. Next one is Rinne the MV. Live is good but a shorter version. Onset is great for Kanami’s tapping and the lighting.

strangely enough kanami was a singer/songwriter when miku enlisted her and now does occasional backing vocals only. no songs like miku gets once a cd

This is a great song on its own, but right in the middle of it a guitar & bass battle/call & response breaks out between Kanami and MISA. It's legendary! MISA keeps up with Kanami, note for note. And don't forget to keep an ear on what Akane is doing in the background. Wow! Watch it even if you don't make a reaction to it.
Band Madiac here. Are you on Montana? I noticed the labeling on the hoodie. I'm over in southeastern Montana and got hooked on Band Maid several years ago. I have the majority of their releases and Unseen World is on the way from Japan. Anyway, I enjoyed the reaction

Great Reaction, totally agree with you on Misa and that can also apply to Akane and Kanami as well. This particular show at Zepp Tokyo was possibly the best mixed live show I have heard of theirs. Puzzle & Play from this show is must to be reviewed. The versions Moratorium and Puzzle & Play from this show are by far my favorite Band-Maid tracks.
Everytime I hear Miku whisper "Make up you mind", I think to myself "you had me at 'breaking new gate'".
If you find the acoustic version of Puzzle from this same show you get to hear Kanami sing all the back ups!
I truly hope they put this version back up on their channel soon, provided that they don't have a better one coming later.

It's my favorite Band Maid song. In this case, gotta love lack of Chinese copy right law, billibilli. Don't worry i've paid for both streamed Band Maid concerts.
