Thank you! I certainly do, so I’m glad you noticed! I feel like I’m gradually improving with each video, so hopefully that’s the case, quite happy with the most recent video, and the next few I’m working on too!
It's either a really good sign or a really bad sign that you can't remember these reels lol. For me, I take it that you have enough of your own patches and samples that you've forgotten some. I aspire to have such a large repertoire that I never run out of my own samples to mess with. This video is very inspirational!
Ha! Thanks, I do hope it’s a good sign! I do have to keep checking how many reels Morphagene can hold, when I want to create new ones or load something onto it, and I do have to go on and delete old ones every now and then, I guess it’s partially good record keeping of reels and samples etc, and also the continuous creation of new, interesting & exciting sounds/samples/recordings! But I’m glad I could offer some inspiration, that’s what this is all about! Showing my experimentation and hoping to inspire along the way 😀
Actually I had a great time exploring the Arbhar recently, I’ve got a couple of videos/pieces that I’m editing at the moment with it, but in general I think I prefer, Morphagene and also Beads, Beads because it’s more real time, whereas Arbhar isn’t really. I’ve been travelling a bit recently which is why I’m a bit behind on video editing, but I managed to film some cool stuff in France, which will also be coming soon! (After the Arbhar videos I think)
Hi, maybe I don't know what I'm really looking for with my morphagene but I don't find pleasure for the moment. It's my first module you know. Do you think the choice of the reel is essential to have the result you approach ? Thanks man, it's really important to me... Send it back to the seller or not ? That's the question haha Alex🍀
@@MrChaton75 Hey, for me it’s a great module that I find myself coming back to a lot, for sure the reels you’re starting with are very important, of course it all depends on the type of music you want to make, but I find Morphagene to be very flexible, and can be used in many different situations, I would encourage experimenting with all different reels (I think there is a website with lots of reels you can download and explore?) I would petition you to keep using it and exploring, give it a chance, but there are other similar options that work in different ways, such as Beads & Arbhar? Which are both great, I use them all a lot, and as your first module Morphagene is certainly a good choice, you may want some effects though (like Beads) soon! I hope this is helpful for you, but let me know if you have any more questions!
Another beautiful soundscape. Do you happen to remember if you changed the Gene Smooth option in the firmware? Manual says changing setting to 1 places a fade in/out envelope on the genes. This sounds so smooth throughout that I'm wondering if you're using that setting?
Hey, thank you! I think I am, to be honest it’s been awhile since I delved into the settings, but I remember setting this, and I suspect I’ve left it on, I think I prefer it like that, as with Beads where you can have a square envelope, or a smooth one, I think it often sounds nicer with the smooth fade in/out
My first module. Forever in the case. Great sounds, thanks for sharing !
It’s a great module, one of my favourites for sure, glad you enjoyed the video!
This is so lovely
Thanks! I was quite happy with the results of this one, glad you enjoyed it!
Inspiring... thank you!
Thanks for watching! 😀
Beautiful session! you make a lot of effort on your video editing
