    This Lady may not know English well, but her presentation is one of the Best I have ever seen for a Sewing Machine of this complexity!!!! She is calm, goes slow and clear, did a nice introduction to the machine, and clearly illustrated many of the controls, although some of them at a fast pace that I had to repeat the portion several times, but no big deal, I got the function and the detail. I really had learned a lot about the many sewing options this machine has as a pre-amble to the S9, the one I really want that adds Embroidery to the S7 and becomes the S9. Thanks a lot and continue with your excellent videos!!!

    Thank you so much, this was excellent tutorial. I have the Skyline S7, have had it for two months, and am just getting to know all the features. I've been sewing for over 50 years on a vintage White machine and consider myself an experienced sewer, but this machine is totally different and some days I feel so confused and lost. Your lesson is wonderful and taught me some of the basics of the machine, how to use the buttons and the display for all the different stitches. There is so much that I don't know and videos like yours give me the confidence to explore more on my own. I subscribed to your channel so I hope there are more instructional videos for me to view. Thank you.

    You are an amazing teacher!!! Exactly what i was looking for , I have the S9 , I do use the Embroidery but been too afraid to use it for sewing as it seems a. bit overwhelming, with videos like this it makes me want to start learning! Love your suggestion to create the panel to exercise all the different applications! look forward to more videos from you! Merci!

    Bonjour

    Very clear instructions. Merci! I'd love to see a similar video on the S9. I'm trying to decide whether it is worth the extra money.

      You can look at our Janome Life blog Janomelife.Wordpress.com for many posts on the S9. Here is another You Tube Video th-cam.com/video/V7gMAtRiGR0/w-d-xo.html . There are quite a few other videos on the S9 on You Tube. Perhaps you’d like to do a search? And our website also has quite a bit of information under Products > Machines > Skyline S9.

    Just purchased my machine and started looking for tutorials. Your's was very good, except it was very hard to see your stitches with the light thread on light fabric.

      Glad you found the video useful. Thanks for Thor feedback. We try to have thread that shows up but this is not always possible on a garment or item that needs a blending colour. But we hear you and will try to show things more clearly in subsequent videos.

      Its was a good tutorial but it would be better if Colour contrast than fabric to see the work. Thinking of buying this machine

    Great tutorial. You mentioned the blue bobbins are for the Skyline kind. Does that mean all other class 15/clear bobbins will not work properly, even if Janome brand?

    • @janomelife
      @janomelife  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use any of our class 15 Janome bobbins in your Skyline. Most of our machines are the class 15 size and can be used interchangeably in our machines.
