I love the poison ivy lesson on foregoing short term satisfaction for long term goals. I too have had poison ivy and I have never had a more pleasurable experience than scratching it under hot water. Needless to say, this lesson speaks worlds to me. Do the emotionally difficult thing in hopes of a greater future, which will surely be the product of just that. May you all be happy and healthy. Thank you for this talk Ajahn

Hello, I'm writing because I'm interested in proving Spanish translation of your dhamma talks. I'm an American living in Mexico who has benefited greatly from all the dhamma talks on youtube but there is a noticeable lack of content with subtitles in Spanish. There is interest in Buddhism in Latin America but one of the barriers is the language. Please let me know if you're willing to dialog regarding this.

I have a question concerning the eating of meat for a monk......Does the monk that eats meat give the message that it,s okay for you but not for me attitude....If one eats a hamburger does he not support the slaughterhouse???....if we all stop eating meat the slaughter house than shuts down....

In this world of greed, hate, delusion it is impossible to stop people eating meat..And eating hamburger is not support killing nor support slaughtering.I think like you long ago before i really persue Buddhism. But after careful attention to the BUDDHA teaching explaination, i finally clearly understand that everything happen, it happen with a cause and conditions.
Keep your mind open and follow the dhamms closely and after sometime in the future when you are awaken and wisdom are developed, The answer will be known by yourself.
