"Sick Boi, sick boi, seven my sins." Followed by seven verses about Ren's life, capped with a final verse explaining the seven sins. This was chess-level music writing.
Yes, the significance of “lucky number 13” and 6+7=13 … it’s been 13 years he’s been sick and he intentionally chose Friday the 13th to release the album. And it’s been far more successful than he could have ever imagined when writing this song!! I knew you would love the production on this one! There are so many layers! Seven Sins and MG3 are the two that he wrote while he was in Canada 🇨🇦
I love that you’ve been running the Sick Boi gauntlet (and Seven Sins is my favorite reign of blows in this six and a dozen), but I really would love to see you react to some of Ren’s late band’s, The Big Push’s, original music videos. If you may deign to, might I imploringly suggest (no pressure, kid) the studio recorded music video of Sweet Little Lady followed immediately (like TSA too close) by a reaction to their live, “acoustic” one-take of the same. You can only win with this. It will have its own Actual Gold Weight. Cheers mate!
I thought "Lost all faith" will be the best one by far... until I heard this. This track (I do not dare call it a song) is the best on the whole album by far, it's a damn masterpiece. You could make 10 different songs out of pieces of it.
He is spreading awareness and creating dialog and discussion and I love that you give him the credit for it, because living with chronic illness is so isolating and his music and openness makes it feel less along, as does his community he has created. Thank you so much for addressing it.
It's 13 C here in The Netherlands right now ☺ I think this might be my new favorite Ren song but then again he has so many masterpieces it i hard to pick just one... I really relate to this song because I too was desperately ill searching for answers for years
Just to be slightly contrary.. "Let It Be" is actually a McCartney written, recorded, & released track on that Beatles' album. Lennon actually had not 1 say, not 1 hand in nor part in writing or performing that track. Being that it was written about McCartney's dream of his deceased mother, named Mary McCartney who passed when he was 14: "..in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me... Let it be," that's about McCartney's mom, not the virgin Mary. Just thought I'd say such bc nothing says love & respect like a yearning to regurgitate trivia for the desire to spread facts. God, I sound like 1 of those trite broads trying to prove someone wrong, not the case tho, just throwing praise to the original author of the track ✌🖤🐿
Yes they have.... but make sure you pick the right video for picture and sound quality from a fan. The one where it is shot from Dani's side of the stage is so far the best one.@@Beldvlmnt
I haven't caught them all, but it seems particularly intentional in this one, that he's dropping call outs to every song on the album in this one. I've noticed he usually does at least one, from what I recall, in many of his tracks, but this one he's dropped them all over the place. The new one I noticed in this particular listen, was the expand, expand, from money game 2. But they are definitely easter egged throughout. 😅

Everyone misses the line just 3 words ..Crime scene forensic ..For-Rens-sick
OH SH** thats a great one! Thank you!
Well done... you eagle eye!
What?! I missed that. Brilliant double!
If it was not intentional the line would make no sense in the lead up to what was being said ? @@Vincust
I've seen one reactor get it but can't remember who it was...?? 🤔
That wasn't a vocorder at the beginning, that was Ren layering his own voice multiple times to do a one man Welsh male voice choir
Wow, never picked up on that. Lads a legend.

Thank you for the translation, and thank you for the support!! I appreciate it so much, and I definitely needed the energy today
I love the fact that he started the album in his native tongue 🏴 He said that he did the eulogy in a traditional Welsh style. It’s powerful
"Sick Boi, sick boi, seven my sins." Followed by seven verses about Ren's life, capped with a final verse explaining the seven sins. This was chess-level music writing.
In the lyrics that are published the line is "sever my sins" which makes more sense to me.
@jeanwyenberg2774 Ah, I hadn't checked out the official lyrics yet. It still works great, though.
@@joshuawiedenbeck6944 yes it does. I had to check the official lyrics...it all goes a bit fast for me! Such incredible lyrics.
What a seriously strong song to start an album with. Ren is amazing and he deserves every ounce of respect and recognition he can get.

The powerful rush when the strings and drums hit is epic. What a stellar opening to this album.
This song is so well produced. The spacing is incredible
Gets even better with each listen. I hear new sounds each time. The lyrics squeeze my heart. Ren is an absolute wizard ❤
Love this song so much
This is my favourite song on the album (currently, at least). So well-written. Loved your reaction ❤❤
Have y'all seen his video of him and Vic listening to Harry Mack rapping a tribute to Ren, over his murderer track???
Respect!!!

He also shouted out Eric clapton's tears in heaven right before the Jimmy Hendrix reference

Hey Bel, great way to wake up... Coffee and Ren. So happy to see you doing the album!

Hey BEL. This is gonna be the first video of yours I’ve watched.
Hahaha I see you 👀

This entire Album is a Epic Masterpiece❤Ren is a Genius...Thanks
Let It Be is a Paul McCartney song. I don't know how Lennon got confused with it.
Was Lennon on the credits?
@@Beldvlmnt Paul is generally known and given credit for Let It Be but the album does credit both Paul and John for that song.
@@robmarar 🤷♀️ rhyme pattern over clarity sometimes? Haha
Other than Lennon getting an actual writing credit on the song, his name works in the rhyme scheme.
In the livestream he did after the release, Ren admitted that he messed that up … but Lennon fit better with the rhyme scheme and the meaning.
Im surprised you haven't done the 2 new TW songs sick and Hell you called a dream that they just debuted.
Did they officially drop?! I heard they played 2 new ones at a show, but didn't know they have debuted!

I v listen to this one many times and each time learn something new. He s a genius❤
You'll be needing Lowkey - Fire in the Booth 🔥
Congrats on getting to 3rd round on Disco Doc

Thanks for doing this one. It’s so great! 💜
I 💯 agree with you that Ren can showplace his pain in so many songs. But I feel like this explains it so explicitly. It actually feels so painful
Gotta do Wicked Ways now!!!
Looove!
Ren❤❤❤❤
Im surprised by how many pass over the Eric Clapton tears from heaven reference
Ah I’m so not familiar with Eric Claptons music! Ren has all the influences 😍
🔥🔥🔥❤✌
So great right? Thanks…
