The weather in Seoul, South Korea and Northeast Asia is cooler than that in Southeast Asia. If you come to Seoul in winter, you will see snow, which is colder than in Europe.
Yeah we’ve seen some pictures. I kinda like that you have proper seasons and it’s really warm in summer and cold in winter. The UK is just grey and cool most of the year with a 1 month summer 😂 what should we do next time we are in South Korea?
@@gazwrighttravel If you come to Northeast Asia in the winter, you can go to Japan, S Korea, and northern China for skiing, and in the summer, you can go to Thailand, Philippines, and Indonesia for a tropical island vacation. This is why Westerners love to come to Asia!
@@BB-yi6qn We have just done 5 days in Beijing. Amazing place and the video will be live in a few days. Just catching up on S. Korea first. Heading to Japan on Thursday as well :) Asia is so so good - I just have to avoid the peanuts/ nuts haha
As a local Seoul person, I recommend "Seoul forest" in Seong-soo (which is a trendy district these days), "Lotte-world + 2nd Lotte-world tower" in Jamsil. If you want to experience other cities, 1. Jeju (a tropical island with very beautiful mountain "Halla(the highest in South Korea)", tropical beaches, temperate & tropical forests, mind-boggling cafes, easy and peaceful driving routes, and hundreds of kinds of unique local foods) 2. Kyeongju ( a historical city with historic heritages of "Shilla", one of old dynasties of Korea ) 3. Busan (known for Train to Busan but its main tourists places are "a waterfront temple", "Hae-un-dae beach", "skywalk" etc) For food, I recommend you to try oyster soup(oyster is far cheaper than western countries. Oyster soup for a single person costs $8~11, grilled ones like $20~30), jeon (pancakes), tteok-bokki (spicy rice cake), marinated crab, Guk-bap (soup with rice).
@@ejfeg779 Thank you for all the insight and tips! I have a video going live on Busan tonight. Amazing place and a surprise having such a lovely beach. We were super lucky with the weather as well. We had to miss out on Jeju as the weather was really bad when we were nearby. Oyster soup sounds amazing and I love tteok-bokki. I will 100% be coming back to South Korea in the future.
Absolute pleasure! Trying to make life easier for people who want to head to different countries. If there is anything I can improve or add to the next ones just let me know :)
