This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Well thanks so much for the kind words! And we totally agree. There are so many amazing places to visit that we need more than 100 lifetimes to enjoy them all. We're so glad you found us. Do you have any trips coming up? 🥾🥾
Hey thanks so much! I'm always afraid I'm not going to be able to get that thing back! Segovia was an amazing place, and we will definitely return at some point. Have you spent much time there?
Hey guys, this video was good and so enjoyable. I must say though, you two are a wonderful couple and that really shined in this video. Although Segovia looked stunning. You both stole the show.
That is so nice to hear Stephen! Thank you. We are certainly loving what we're doing, and are always trying to learn more about how to make videos that people will enjoy. Your feedback is very helpful! I'd like to try and get in touch to talk more if you're ok with that?
During the Middle Ages Castile had not a capital city but a system of "itinerant kingship": the king settled where was needed for political or just personal reasons. There was a "net" of royal fortresses _(reales alcázares)_ in different cities all over the kindom: Valladolid, Medina del Campo, Segovia, Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla... that still exist nowadays (well, the one in Madrid was destroyed in 1725 by a fire and then they built the current Royal Palace on the same place). This _Alcázar_ of Segovia Is one of them. Isabella the 1st departed from this castle towards her coronation ceremony in _San Miguel_ church (it does not exist anymore) in 1474.
Good day Robert! That's great information. The history of Spain and her castles is rich for sure! Thanks for watching - we hope you'll stay with us for more. We are regrouping in the States right now but will probably heading toward Thailand in the next couple months ...👍👍🥾🥾
Segovia is such a beautiful town! Ken and I just watched your video and we were laughing over the Suckling pig conversation, as Ken is a meat eater and me not so much, but loved your commentary! I’m glad you enjoyed the city so much!!
We battled between the pig image. Afraid we would offend the non meat eaters. In the end, we realized.. our all subscriber base is probably more carnivores than vegan. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys! You are so much fun to watch - so much energy! Thanks for all your food info - Spain is such a beautiful country and has some of the BEST food. You guys tried so many things that we hadn't even heard of before. The Ponche Segoviano looked especially intriguing. Thanks for taking us back to Spain. New friends here - can't wait to watch the next one! Emily + Tom :)
