Stay a few days. I did and I loved it. Spain is affordable to visit in these smaller towns and you get to see more than you would navigating a huge city. I stayed almost a week and loved the streets, finding cafes, walking in the hills around the castle - it was just lovely.
Cool, I've been there once when I visited a friend of mine in Madrid and totally forgot about it. Just saw your thumbnail and remembered the day. Time flies.
I went to Madrid this November 2021. I visited the beautiful Segovia! I took the ave train ( little more expensive) but in 30 min we were there. It was a fantastic day trip. I missed to visite Real Palace of Riofrío ( we were late to visite). Don’t miss to go to Segovia which is located north - west of Madrid.
Looking forward to the day you come to Malaga, I moved here 11 years ago when I was 9 from the UK and it's amazing! So much to see and do and it hasn't been spoiled by tourism yet :)
My son and I are on our way to Segovia next week. Thank you for the information, I am looking forward to checking out the sites mentioned and trying some of the food. Not sure about the suckling pig though...
Hi. You mentioned the fast train… since I’d be competing from the airport, do you know if I can take my luggage without issue? Thank you for all of the travel tips!
Walter, thank you for the Segovia video and telling us about the option that we have to go by bus or train "Very helpful." I'm traveling to Barcelona this September but am having a hard time figuring out where to stay. I'll be there for a week and will definitely do Toledo and Segovia but I'm wondering what is a good and convenient area to stay in Barcelona, can you please help me with any suggestions you may have? Thank you in advance!
You are going to visit Toledo and Segovia... from Barcelona?? That´s like going from NY to Toronto! Segovia and Toledo are nearby Madrid, you can do daily excursions from there, but if you want to visit them and then going back to Barcelona I fear it´s impossible...
Mark, could you do a video on Nashville, Tennessee if you have not already? Sorry if you did, I am new to this channel. You are very helpful and have inspired me to travel in the future. I am young, but I want to travel to Europe. Thank You.
Hey Mark, I love your videos. They're so informative. Could you possibly do a video on what backpacks you recommend for backpacking through Europe based on quality, size, features, etc? If you can't, thank you anyway for your consideration. Happy traveling :)
Kittie Black my wife and I used a pacsafe ventura 45L . It's got every concern you will need covered. Use COMPRESSION packing cubes and get a small day bag, you'll be covered.
Laba diena :) I have an idea for u. It would be really interesting to see the location on the map at the beginning of the video :) Google maps would do.
Segovia is a lovely old town. Perfect for me.

+Eilidh Grant awesome. I'm glad we can help!
You can eat the pork in Portugal, which is called Leitao and it is not at all expensive.
Nice Video!
Great! Keep it up.
How do you deal with internet access abroad? Are you worried about insecure wifi when accessing banking and other important websites?
Mark, could you do a video on Nashville, Tennessee if you have not already? Sorry if you did, I am new to this channel. You are very helpful and have inspired me to travel in the future. I am young, but I want to travel to Europe. Thank You.
+The Bad Hedgehog yes we do. A 5 love and hates and a what to do in nashville

You should really visit the Alps (especially the dolomites) and make a video on that. Anyways, great video as always!
If you had choose one between Toleda and Segovia, which one would visit? I am in same dilemma :)

I have a nosy question... how do you afford to do all the traveling? I'm pretty jealous, lol.
mandymoo745 He did a video explaining how he can a little while ago I think
Cool, thanks. I'll go check it out. :)
+mandymoo745 we save on everything we can. We actually have a few videos on it.
Cool, thank you! I watched one of them, I'll check out more. We tend to be a bit reckless in our spending, that's one way we could do a ton better.
Isn't it spelled Aqueduct? not Aquaduct?
+Diego Norris yeah... I suck.
No! you're awesome! I literally watch every video! and you guys make such a beautiful family keep up the good work!
How are accommodations in Segovia? Price? Quality? Availability?
+h lynn keith cheaper than madrid. Not as many places as most tourists are day trippers but not a big problem getting accommodation.
If he says "cool" once more, I'm going to scream!!! Makes me think his take on Segovia is somewhat superficial.
first
+Christopher Parry you beat me!
You talk a little too fast!!!!!!!!!!!
