- Yasser Arafat and other Palestinian leaders passed up and hindered offers to secure a lasting peace process to the Israel-Palestine conflict, said Saudi Arabia’s former Ambassador to the US Prince Bandar bin Sultan on Tuesday.
In the second episode of a three-part exclusive interview with Al Arabiya, Prince Bandar shared inside information into the difficulties of the Palestinian peace process, as a veteran Saudi diplomat who served for more than 20 years in Washington.

What sacrifice, Saud come into power with the help of British mandate and sold out the whole of MiddleEast. The British promised they would help the shareef of Mecca to rule an Arab state if the Arabs revolted against the Ottoman empire. But the British and french where planning to divide the MiddleEast amongst themselves after the overthrowing of the Ottomans. The British took Palestine and established the Isreal state with the Balfour declaration, the shareef of Mecca refused to sign the declaration so the Brits went to Saud in Najd and armed them against the shareef. The Sauds tookover and expelled the shareef.the British then Established the shareefs Childen on the throne of Iraq and Jordan. The Iraqi rule finished but the Now Jordanian king is the shareefs great grandson.

Palestinian leadership has no other reasons but themselves to blame. They are a major reason for the deterioration of Palestinian situation. Israel is growing stronger, and Saudi Arabia knows that, the only option is to help Palestine and its people but being betrayed proved too costly for Al Saud.

Believe it or not? When Foreign Minister Prince Faisal was asked about this interview and what Prince Bandar said in it, he replied that he was expressing himself and not representing the kingdom's policy,,, we still support them in the same way.....
Such interview couldn't happen without King Salman's and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's approval. Saudi Arabia is strictly controlled country. He was preparing his citizens to eventual peace treaty with Israel. Them and other Arab states had started to follow their countries' interests first and foremost. And without Saudi blessing there would be no peace agreements and full diplomatic ties between Israel and UAE/Bahrain. Everything there is controlled by the Saudis.
