Product comparison and installation video of ARDEX K523 VS Rapid Set TRU® PC

In the video we compare the differences between two polished concrete topping products. ARDEX K523 VS Rapid Set TRU® PC. We place these materials with a gauge rake, spike roller and smoother and compare these high quality cementitious toppings for flow, spread rate, healing qualities and ease of polishing.
We first start with the most critical part of any polished concrete topping. Surface Preparation! After we achieve a CSP 3(concrete surface profile) using our WerkMaster floor grinder, we proceed to put down the 100% solids epoxy and broadcast sand as a bonding primer.
We then mix, pour out and compare the flow rate, smoothing and healing properties of the ARDEX K523 and Rapid Set. TRU® PC.
Once set up we use our WerkMaster concrete topping floor grinder to grind and bring both these floors up to an amazing polish. Concrete toppings are a great choice for resurfacing worn out floors.
