Computer science student here, what you are seeing here is an issue with the iphone's GPU processor having rendering problems and cannot be fixed by software alone. The video was correct in attempting a firmware update and is one way to go about the issue, but if this doesn't fix the issue, it is 100% a physical issue with your phone's GPU processor and must be replaced/ fixed.
@@91sspeed did you get the phone wet or did you drop it? If you got it wet and you don’t want to buy a repair it WILL dry after a few days and the problem will go away as long as you are not using the phone while it’s drying. If you dropped it means a high chance of physical damage maybe not directly to the Gpu processor but the SOC/PCB, in that case you may need to replace the board
@@NJMazani i did drop it yesterday, but today when i woke up the pink line appeared. Replacing the screen or the board will be so expensive tho, i cant afford it. There's no other way? Also, will that pink line affect my phone or glitch it? if not then i think i'll just try to ignore it.

none of this works - none of it! I'd wish they actually show a phone with lines and then without once the program run - you gotta take it in
