I have this same model in black. inherited it with my new place. 25 years old and cleans dishes better than my parents brand new top of the line nonsense. I think id rather just replace parts on it forever than ever get a new one!
I absolutely adore your dishwasher! I could listen to it to fall asleep if I so desired. It just sounds so nice, especially when it drains. It sounds like my grandmas previous dishwasher when it drains.

This video helped me confirm the lpud noise i have is the one forum people describe when the food processor bit is broken, because mine is so much louder when its starting the drain and fill cycles. Every other old forum link is broken from 2005 lol Youre a saint for this I had ZERO other point of reference and the stupid screw is stuck on the old brittle plastic so i need to order a repair kit before i snap the plastic apart to get in there. Got the full repair kit with all parts vs just the one because of your video :D

When I bought my condo in 2004 it had that dishwasher. It's now 2024 and I still have it.

Does this dishwasher have a filter? Or does anyone know or found a video that shows how to maintain this old beast lol it would be much appreciated!
Under the wash arm assembly there appears to be some kind of filter, I am not sure if it is removable or not though.
