I can't believe that this is the first time I've ever heard this song....to the best of my knowledge. Other than 70s classic rock....80s-90s power ballads would be my favorite genre of music. This one will now go on my playlist for sure

Just ran across this video. Growing up in the 70's and 80's as a teenager with this music was the best. There will never be another time like that. The kids today really are missing out. And...Andy Timmons, what a guitarist then and especially now.

As you age songs like this become hauntingly beautiful. The emotions they can make you feel, the places they can transport you back in time to, they're remarkable and beautiful in their own way even if they're rooted in sorrow. How did we ever let this kind of music die?

I was in a local band from Baltimore called Temper Temper....Our booking agent got us the gig opening for Danger Danger because Danger Danger and Temper Temper looked cool on the promo flyers for the show....Great buncha guys, treated us very cool!

Living in the 80 s feels like it wasn't real .. Looking back now and looking at the way the world has changed and it's so different from then feels like it was almost a dream and were in a nightmare now ,, I.was so much happier then now it's so different I wish I go back and stay there and wished the world would not have changed so much everything is so unreal it like a now and then is all a dream.. I sound like a idiot I'm sure , but i just feel like it's so depressing the last three decades have changed so much .. This song makes me think not only situations, people , trends and places back in the 80 s and early 90 s makes me think about everything back maybe we were blindsided into thinking it was good but it was the same is it now but we just didn't notice it seems like the 70 through the mid 90s seemed like better times all the way around am I wrong I was ask myself that these kind of songs really make me ponder .. Really deep ..

Danger Danger are a band that have made me hugely happy ever since I got a CD of their first album for this past Christmas. I love all of their songs and I love the band Ted Poley came out of- Prophet. I'm from New Jersey and they were a local area band that made it and made it big and deserved to hold on and make it even further I believe that music is going to one day go full circle and that's the way it is. It will be that way because more and more young kids love our music. I got the royal treatment from a whole hockey team last Saturday just for saying what is my profession which is a singer. It was great, but quite amazing that 14 or 15 guys half my age were going "We love your kind of music!" Just believe. Bands will form and bands will grow and they will take over again. To Hell with negativity.

    Lying all alone in bed
Crazy thoughts running through my head
    Thinkin' about you
Tryin' hard to let it go
My head says yes but my heart says no
I wish I never had to choose
I've been walking down the same old road
    Tryin' hard to forget you
But I just can't let you go
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    I still think about you
    No matter where you go
Just as sure as a cold wind blows
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    Baby, I remember when
You and me were best of friends
We crossed our hearts and swore it lasts forever
But I guess that lovin' me
    Was just a temporary thing
And I wish to God that we were still together
I hope you found what you were looking for
It's been 3 years, a lot of tears
Ain't got nothing but this song
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    I still think about you
    No matter where you go
Just as sure as a cold wind blows
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    When you're all alone
    When you need a friend
    I guess it doesn't matter
'Cause what we had we'll never have again
    Lyin' all alone in bed
Crazy thoughts running through my head
    Thinkin' about you
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    I still think about you
    No matter where you go
Just as sure as a cold wind blows
    I still think about you
    Ohh...
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me?
    I still think about you
    Yeah...
    No matter where you go
Just as sure as a cold wind blows
    I still think about you
    Do you think about me

I actually know the guys in this band especially Ron. I remember when this came out it was the same time my 16 old niece passed away in a car accident. It has a special place in my heart. I pray I see her again with the many other family members I list so young. My mom at age 44, 2 brothers at age 33, a nephew at age 33 (the youngest son of one of my brothers who passed age 33). It has been a long time since I have seen these guys play they live down south and I live in Indiana. But I have such great memories. Ron has one of the best voices, great performer and a great guy.

Awh, this song reminds me of long car rides with my daddy and brother, and that makes me happy. Then again, it reminds me of my ex, 'my heart says yes but my head says no', so it's sort of one of those songs that just cause so many incredibly emotions at once.

I didn’t hear this song at all when it came out in the 80s. It was only recently that I discovered it. And Thank God I did. I absolutely love it. And just like a lot of other people, I do think of a couple of girlfriends I had back then. So glad I was in high school during the best time period ever. Fall of 86 until graduation in June of 1990.

@ justin hartzer … ya I wish I could build a time machine and go back and never come back, I had the love of my life , he was my world, my everything. he showed me what true love feels like, the first time we were together I felt feelings I didn't think were possible to feel..we were together for 23 yrs we had a son together having him just completed us..then one day he is gone , I found out he married a girl he only knew for 1 yr..they also had a son together , since we had a child together we had to communicate..he calls me 1 day crying , he proceeds to tell me that she left him and left him with a 3 week old baby, he wanted me back but I couldn't what he did to me destroyed me , I did help him with the baby as much as I could afterall its not the childs fault, so we stayed in touch as the years went by , I wanted him back so bad but I was scared..but stupid me last yr in the summer we went for a bike ride on his knew sport bike, which he knows I loved riding on the back of the bike, and we started spending more time together, and our son and the son he had with the other woman are only a yr apart and they hang out a lot, so thing are going good..and ya he tells me his ex was calling blah blah blah...and he needed time to think..so hes with her,,enough said..i do miss him and this is 1 of our songs..take care

@@matthewwiechert103 Hi ya life can stink sometimes..but there is something to be said about 2 people who find their way back to each other time and time again..no matter the situation they end up in..or how far apart they may become they will come back to each other time and time again... we may take detours..but we are never lost..when 2 hearts are meant to be together...fate will bring them together... Mark and i are now together...we are taking things slow.. but even though we have been apart for so long ..the passion the feelings the love we have for each other is there like it never left...cause it didn't...I will always love Mark with all my heart that has known no other love.. and his love or me..is the only love i have ever known...Take Care Matthew

This song just popped into my head while I was in the shower. I had completely forgotten about the existence of it and I just started singing it out of nowhere. I cant believe I still remeber all the lyrics to it! lol
This brought me back to my teenage years when I was suffering from a heart break from my first love HAHAHA
I'd play this song and also "I can't wait anymore" by Saxon over and over again and cry my heart out every day lol
I'm so glad I can listen to this beautiful song now and laugh about these precious memories instead of crying! 😊

I'm a C.C. fan but Andy is light years ahead of him when it comes to guitar.. And at this time this is the kinda stuff bands had to write for the label. it was like a 2 ballad requirement for each album.. But this is still a really good ballad.. brings back great memories.
