Bro your videos deserve way more views, anytime I’m interested in learning something about a clipper or trimmer, I come here first straight facts no bs
Dude, you hit this one out of the park. Great rundown on the clippers in your shop. I'm an old guy, just retired. I've buzzed my own hair for years. But I'm sick of my old wore out, noisy, bad battery, Wahl. I've been shopping for a replacement and you've given me plenty of leads to follow. I buzz my hair about every two weeks, only cut mine and am looking to fork out $100ish for some new clippers. THANK YOU for such an entertaining and informative video! 😉
Just recently discovered you were a heavy user of Detachable blade clippers ! Any reason you went away from using them? Im a fairly young barber who had OG barber instructors that gave me the rundown on saving my trimmer and clipper blades by using detachable blades. Would love to hear your opinion on this
Depends how you fade bro I’ve seen barbers at barber companions that don’t use anything but a clipper and a trimmer it’s all preference on how you fade. That’s the beautiful thing about cutting it’s all based on how like cutting!
I just purchased a S|C Rogue microchipped magnetic as my very first cordless clipper, i am a cosmetologist who specializes in color but I really enjoy doing detailed mens cuts as well, I also have the corded Silver babyless pro clipper and I can’t really find an in depth review on the Rogue. Im really hoping i didn’t make a wrong choice because i almost bought the rebel but it was $30 more
Really interested in the instict, but its a bit redundant for me. I use detachables along with a Master corded and S/C Rogue. I LOVE the fact that S/C gave us two sets of holes in their slider. Andis Master still blade is a direct bolt up
I’m going to drop a video on this in short form soon, but essentially the Apex has a better motor an extra hour of runtime and is more quiet than the rebel. It did not sell because people did not like the housing so it is going to be discontinued there around 1000 of them left and when they are gone, they are gone.
I run with a boosted taper blade Wahl senior fade blade ceramic cutter. Its amazing for that last line. Maybe a instincts x or metal body down the line for bulk but i don't have enough clients for that yet lol.
Hey quick question.....can the stylecraft rogue trimmer be used with stylecraft evo trimmer charger dock and can the body lids be replaced like the rogue clippers and ergo clippers
Great video! I have the Stylecraft Ergo with the Fusion Blade and the shallow tooth cutting blade... does great blends and fading with thinner, lighter, and straight hair. However, I have clients with thicker, curly, or coarse hair and the Ergo just doesn't make it and blending is just a pain, so I go back to my Wahl Senior cordless to finish the job. I really like the look and feel of the Ergo and would like to know if you have any suggestions on how to better the Ergo vs thicker, coarse, or curly hair.
I can tell you this i have the Babyliss snap fx and i hate them so much i can’t wait to buy some stylecraft I’ve see the apex are on sale for 100 right now is that a good deal?
I think faper would help better for the blend (correct me if I am wrong) and he also mentioned rogue would be better for the blends so I think the boost could be used for bulk if you wanted 🧐
Yo guys and gals out there in tv land everyone knows the best clippers and trimmers out there today is either the gold saber clipper and the ion silver trimmer both work great on thick hair cuts by the way the gold saber is by style craft folks thanks for listening 👂 anyways 😊
Hello Barber Academia, I am from Colombia and I am translating this message, thank you very much for your informative videos on the Stylecraft brand, you give a lot of good information about these machines 🙏 I have a question that maybe you could answer for me. Do you consider that the Stylecraft Ápex has the same strength as the Stylecraft Rebel?
Yes, in fact, the Apex motor is slightly better than the rebel, and it is more quiet along with an extra hour of runtime technically speaking it is a better machine
Bruuh I need a trimmer for close shaves (bald) and bulk as well. Tryna avoid razor bumps on my neck too. Sounds like I should go flex or saber but idk loool someone help me I beg 😭🙏
So… let’s talk about the Protege I recently fell in love with it I changed to a mister cartoon lid and a faper blade I use it more than my instincts rebels seniors ect but…. I have a wahl senior with a faper blade oMG the power n precision is unmatched bought the new cartoon rebel and the blade burnt one of my clients I haven’t picked it up since then
That is very odd. I have never registered a temperature higher than 100° in any of my testing. I would take that blade off switch it out as possible. You may have a problem with a tooth or uneven wear from the wahl cutter
I only use 2 clipper
My go2
-Wahl Magic with fade blade ceramic cutter
- Rebel with stretch brecked+ taper blade👌✅

VERY well though out and detailed technical review. Youre a cut above bro. Thank you.
5:45 the blend needs more then just a clipper, it needs debulking, blending shears, and detail work.

True but this is a brand walkthrough
Great vid bro
Why do you sculpt the sides of your beard instead of the messy and puffed out look that it is right now??
Have u tried it before?
Wahl Metal Senior. With original cutting blade and bottom faper SC blade. Battery upgraded.

StyleCraft should make another brushless motor clipper in the instinct body style.
Agree
Style craft Instinct is the best 🔥🔥
Of the rogue ❤

I also have another question, do you think the Stylecraft Saber is better than the Apex in terms of strength?
In general business knowledge, the Apex, has been discontinued, so if anything goes wrong with it, I'll pray customer service helps you
I’m going to drop a video on this in short form soon, but essentially the Apex has a better motor an extra hour of runtime and is more quiet than the rebel. Much needed video thank you
Would you say the sabers are the exact same weight as corded masters or maybe the same weight as seniors?
Cause I noticed online it only says the rogue clippers can change body lids and use the ergo clippers body lids and charging dock
Nice explanation, I can’t wait until they come amount with a smaller metal clipper with that saber motor!
I run with a boosted taper blade
Wahl senior fade blade ceramic cutter. Its amazing for that last line.

Hey quick question.....can the stylecraft rogue trimmer be used with stylecraft evo trimmer charger dock and can the body lids be replaced like the rogue clippers and ergo clippers
So when is gamma coming out with a detachable clipper
which clipper would you say is closer to a caliber .50 cal clipper the first gen that had lots of battery life like 8hours plus and powerfull
Great video! I have the Stylecraft Ergo with the Fusion Blade and the shallow tooth cutting blade... does great blends and fading with thinner, lighter, and straight hair. Faper

Holy moly I didn’t know that
You forgot the Mythic...
How does instinct compare to the 50 cal bmg from caliber
I have babyliss boost clipper and a rogue clipper. Should I put a faper on the rogue or babyliss? And a fade blade on which one of those 2?
Put the blade on that works best for your cutting style!
I think faper would help better for the blend (correct me if I am wrong) and he also mentioned rogue would be better for the blends so I think the boost could be used for bulk if you wanted 🧐
Lmk what you did tho curious 🧐

Do you have any caliper clippers? I still use the 50 Cal Mag! Any comments?
What better the wahl magic clip or the gamma portege clipper?
That wall of boxes is so sick
Thank you bro took a lot of mind plotting to where I could put them thanks to Mr Eddie for allowing my artistic side to show -Kennydabarber
Do u think the saber is worth getting in 2024? I’m able to get one right now for 111$ what do u think?
