The Protege is only 6000 RPMs the Alpha is 7000 RPMs with 4 hours runtime Where the Rebel your favorite is 7200 RPMs with 3 hours of run time I do believe when they came out with the combo it re-released all black instead of the original bronze color it to has the 7000RPMs
I preorder the instincts and I didn’t like it much, and I definitely felt the extra power kick in quite a bit. However I had some issues with the build because the screws kept getting stripped and the vibrations were so strong they were damaging the lid. It was fun to use at first but then it just got annoying IMO I had two pairs and sold it now I use the ergos and I’m happy
The Sabers hit!!! The only down side is the weight other than that I think they would make #1. That vector motor is tough but isnt balanced but its only a matter of time before stylecraft makes it better.
I’m not a fan of the insinct clippers mostly the saber both clippers and trimmers and I have myXTRIM clippers that have been so good to me and I love the feel and power they fade so smooth but now I’m looking into the ONYX BY JRL AND THE ERGO I HAVE NEVER HAD MY HANDS ON THE JRL ONLY THE ERGO AND I WANT TO GET THEM INTO MY ARSENAL.
Dub back real quick the mythic has the same motor as the x ergo's. I use the sabers to blend I really wanna get mysthics with a fade blade for clearing bulk. I feel like the sabres are do forgiving while maintaining power. I can't believe you blend with a boosted tho bc them boys are so aggressive.
Hey Sean I don't know if you noticed (I only found out recently too) that the Rebel and Boosted actually do have a minor difference in the moving cutting blades. I think it's something got to do with the length of the teeth.

Another barber in my shop just got a boosted and hers has a different cutter on it than mine does. I got to doing some investigating and can’t find out why but I noticed if you look at gammas stock photos of this clipper, the black one has a deep tooth cutter in the pics and the gold/red have a shallow tooth. Super odd.
Need some advice. I currently use Wahl seniors, babylis lo pro (with a faper blade) and JRL 2020c with a fade blade. I have wanted to switch up my clippers for a long time (e.g shape etc). I have small hands so always struggle with how clippers feel in my hands. I like the look of the Gamma boosted (but they are the same shape of the magic clips etc), the gamma instinct (because they’re small) and the gamma x-ergo clippers (interest me the most). Help me out people, many thanks!
Boosted is one of my favorites so can’t go wrong there. I personally hate the instinct because it’s small but you may like it. X ergo is solid probably gammas most used clipper

I’m worried about how long cordless clippers last. From what I see I like the rebels. Really pissed. If the price is $40 said made in Italy. I don’t really mind. If it said Italy and price is 10 times . $300-400. It better be made in Italy. Rebel would be my choice out of those. The boosted seems a little nicer and basically the same
