Amanda I hope you realize how many people you have inspired to get out and do what you do my son and myself are looking at doing a trip to the USA in 2027 for 2 months we live in New Zealand....your videos have inspired us to do it so be very proud of yourself you are the reason we are doing that trip ...and we thank you from the bottom if our hearts ❤
don't let some inconsiderate jerk bring you down. He's probably unhappy with and thinks everyone else should be. Keep doing what you are doing Amanda. You are a positive force for people that want to do the exact same thing.
You are a pro at using the music with your videos! You don’t drown out your voice and your videography is excellent! We really enjoy your peaceful and uplifting work. Thank you 😊 Oh and regarding the rude jerk, just keep in mind that while he made you feel bad for a little while, he has to live with that poison in his soul on a regular basis. Keep focusing on your happiness. 🤗
You are amazing. Never ever allow the ignorance of others to damage the beauty within you. You are an inspiration to many. We love and admire you. Keep up the great work. Iceman. American Legion Rider...
I can’t believe you made it to Jamestown. My folks grew up there. My mom has a story about administering some blue paint to that buffalo. My Grandma had a part in setting up the little town you walked through. Thanks so much for showing the place. It has been such a long time! What a treat!
Amanda, I love your channel and this is another excellent video. I look forward to every episode and as a fellow Clackamas resident and regular patron of the local REI, I feel like there's even more of a connection. It breaks my heart that you have to deal with some of the worst examples of humanity on these epic trips. No one deserves that. I know how difficult it can be to pull yourself out of the funk that some random unpleasant person can put you in. I just want you to know that when I see there's a new ATMF video released, it's a bright spot in my day. If I feel that way, that means there are thousands of others that feel the same. What you're doing is not easy and your work is appreciated and respected. I can't wait to see the rest of the series.
Was listening to another podcast this week (Five Dirty Bikers) and they mentioned you as one the most authentic and trustworthy influencers on TH-cam. Just thought I would pass that along. 🙂
We've seen almost every video of yours over the past 4 years and usually don't comment. However, seeing this, we can't wait for this voyage. Love ppl who travel on bikes. We've played and stayed in the lower 48s four times. We had a fantastic trip to Alaska on our 367-day BikeCation. Hopefully, our paths will cross.
Sup boots and jeans i just discovered you guys and its cool to see you guys here. Been following Mag for awhile i find it really cool to see you guys here. Shoutout from west monore la. I will take this as a sign and really try get my shit together so i can live the life both of you guys live traveling on a bike.
We follow Boots and Jeans too! You’re also an inspiration and we love how much fun you have together. Your love and respect for each other shines through. Peace!
@@ItIsWhatItIsTV- Heeey we know you😃. You will absolutely love the long haul on the bike. We are currently home, but are looking to get back on the road real soon,

Amanda, I am riding from Kentucky back to California solo. Planning to visit Tenn and Mississippi southern states. This will be my longest trip ever. Watching you gives me courage.
You are an inspiration! My parents also love watching you as they are in their 90s and have a hard time getting out, so they are loving seeing your travels! Thanks for entertaining them and me also, have a great trip!
I just want you to know, I am from PA and watching your videos has inspired me to "get out there and do the things!" It has become my husband and I mantra... we are not getting any younger! We just took our 1 week vacation from work and road our bikes from Western PA to Maine up the coast and back! We tried to stay off the major highways and even though I ride 3 wheels and he has his 2 wheel motorcycle, we had an amazing time and loved the adventures and people we met. we did 3 days camping and 4 days hotels.. but drove over 1700 miles in 7 days and most of those were winding twisty back roads. LOVED IT!! It was our first of I hope many long trips! Thank you for being such a HUGE inspiration!! We are already planning our next trip!! Route 66 sounds fun! THANK YOU for sharing with us your tips/ tricks and motivation! I have made it a goal to get my Ryker CanAm to every state! Please continue your path, you speak to so many of us! Now I need to go get that cook book!!
I am so very sorry that you experienced that rude and ignorant person… Love your channel and your determination to make these trips and content solo. Travel safe and be well! Love you…❤️
Can't help but think of Evel Knievel when I hear of Butte. Love the quiet, friendly mood of your videos. I have good memories of KOA's from travel as a little kid. That first cabin room was awesome.
Teaching the grandson to drive. The first day with traffic and a car load of people passed us in a curve shouting and giving the finger. The flood of emotions triggered by this shook him but gave us a chance to talk. I explained that regardless of how well you drive, look, act, or your age that these jerks will crop up at times. How do we handle it pull over or chase them down? His answer was, I'm glad i'm not them and that they are gone, I just want to drive. I gave him a big thumbs up... Amanda, sorry you were disrespected but thank you for sharing that it took time for you to shake it off. Knee jerk reactions can be dangerous, stay safe and keep, "doing the thing", !
I love your videos Amanda, your videos have the best mood, you film and compose this absolutely perfect! Love that you have your brother do voiceover whit you. Negative people are a necessity, to know you have a great life! Your life is a lot better the the small minded man who spoke ill of you! You have a lot of people who love you!
Been there and did that in 23 days back in 2011. Did a fun raiser for our church's food pantry and hit all the lower 48. Also have done AK and HI on other trips Enjoy the ride!
This is the good stuff! Also, I love the contrast of your high tech Wolfman bag next to what looks like a grocery store produce bag holding your dear hat. While you made an incredibly secure hat strap system, I feel like Wolfman should be making you a proper waterproof hat containment system. I cried with you that day you lost your hat. Be well!
Well done. Your content is just so well done. Perfect blend of scenery, riding footage, commentary, and life around camp. As a CB500x er, you caught me attention when you moved on to the Africa Twin (which I consider too). Any way, I just subscribed, and that it's rare for me to subscribe! Keep it up.
I ride to work every day and it’s been in the 40s for the last few months. My gs1200 has such good wind coverage on the legs I just wear regular pants. My heated grips are heaven!!!
Congrats on your journey. My journey is nearing its end. I have 4 more states and it will be my longest ever solo trip from GA to Alaska and the west coast and back to GA. I was able to ride Hawaii in April, so that will be the only state not on my bike. Ive camped before but i really dont enjoy it, mostly because my trips are very compact. This next trip will be in August and only last 2 weeks. Some of the days will be very long. I have the luxury to stop at hotels or use the Motorcycle Travel Network. I wasnt aware of the KOA cabins. Thanks for the tip.
I give you so much credit! As a newer female rider in her 50s, I am not sure that I would be willing to go it alone. Be careful out there & if you ever come through Wisconsin, we have a cozy place for you to stay 🥰
When you hit Minnesota, you could have visited Lake Atasca State Park THE HEADWATERS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. Amanda, enjoyed the video and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Eric (Wolfman Luggage) can make any of the bags on the Wolfman Threadworks website with the sand color, but he's stated he won't be making the large saddlebags anymore XD but he has lots of other options!
Fun video. Looking forward to the series. For the life of me why would someone have rude comments to somebody they don’t know . People can be horrible.
Hello Amanda you are absolutely an amazing inspiration for meI did get to meet you at Forgotten Angels. Just be safe and hopefully I will see you somewhere during your and my travels.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💯👍🇺🇸
Really cool video when the horses came running in you entered another realm of conscious that we can never understand..that moment was just for you. Shoutout from west monroe la.
What a great ride. Marina and I have ridden 49 states, but it was in two rides. We hit the Northeast in the lull between summer and color season. Our problem was that we had a hard time finding places that were open, LOL. Of course it all worked out and we have a great time. As usual, love your videos....
Amanda, that is amazing video, glad to see you featuring recipes in your cookbook, what an amazing site seeing those horses, sorry you had a bad interaction with some idiot, pleasant to see your day got a lot better, yeah you can still use a pull through site with a motorcycle. Looking forward to the next video. Thank you. This is the good stuff.
Awesome, been considering a bike ride from Texas to New Hampshire in Oct. About 1700 miles one way. Farthest trip so far was Sturgis last year at 1200 miles. Had not thought about KOA campgrounds. Great idea.
Amanda, I'm sorry you had a bad experience with some jerk in Medora, ND of all places. Its usually one of the most friendly places in the USA. I know, I used to live there. Anyway, I like to see a brave woman get out and explore on 2 wheels. If you every come through Bismarck, ND we have a spare room. We also have a cool little place in the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Maybe we could ride the South Dakota BDR together. I havent done it yet myself. (My wife rides too.) Keep on exploring.

Hi Amanda, I'm curious on your thoughts ( I haven't finished watching the vid yet, so you may have answered already 😞) on that rain suit? It looks like it's kind of lose and might be generating additional drag, but maybe that's just how it looks in the video. OK, edit here, not as much buffeting as I originally thought. I see that it goes entirely over your riding gear, so that's nice. Maybe some elastic straps around the arms for a closer fit like you see on some sport bike jackets.
Thanks for sharing such beautiful and exciting travel destinations. It will be fun to follow you on this trip. Wishing you all the best in the future. Greetings from Sweden
