they've actually made some serious progress in this series, still with the yogscast signature incompetence, but they're not just standing around like they normally do.
duncan is such an enigma with tech packs, sometimes he builds ultra compact super complicated redstone moving machines to move thaumcraft nodes, and other times like this he cant figure out how to put create machines and belts together in a straight line.
I totally sympathisé with Duncan. I built a machine that builds precision components from the output of a cobble generator and a tree farm. So I really get desperately wanting to explain it all to someone.
@ well, the main components in precision mechanisms are large gears and small gears. To make gears you need wood and andesite alloy, the wood comes from a tree farm and the andesite alloy comes from the cobblestone generator. You can make andesite from gravel and flint with a bit of lava so you grind the cobble from the cobblestone generator into gravel then split that using tunnels and wash half which produces iron nuggets and flint, the flint is then combined with the rest of the gravel and you pump in lava from cauldrons with drip stone to drip lava into them. The resulting andesite is then combined with the iron nuggets to make andesite alloy. The andesite alloy is then sawed to make shafts and similarly the logs from the tree farm are sawed once to remove the bark and then again to produce planks. The planks are split in two with tunnels some are applied to the shafts with deployers to make small cogs, the small cogs are then split with tunnels and one half has the rest of the planks applied to them to make large cogs. So with large cogs and small cogs produced you also need iron nuggets which can be poached from further back in the process or produced from a separate cobble generator with crushing wheels and a washer(the excess flint needs to be disposed of). These components are then arranged above an arrangement of four belts arranged in a sort of offset cross shape so items go around in a circle with three deployers above it to apply the components and a filter to remove the completed precision components one they are done. What’s left is to produce the gold sheets that are the base for the precision components and feed it onto the belt. Gold can be produced from cobble by grinding the cobble twice, once into gravel and then into sand, the sand is the washed to produce clay balls, compacted into clay blocks and then fired into terracotta. Grinding the terracotta then produces red sand which when washed produces gold nuggets, these are then compacted into gold bars and then stamped into gold sheets which are then fed onto the cross of belts to produce precision mechanisms. Though the rate of production of gold is really slow, you seem to need a double chest full of cobble to produce only a few ingots of gold, so what I tend to do is produce gold from gold ore, granite or ochreum instead of cobble because the rate of production is higher, though that means it’s not from a fully automatic farm like it is if you use cobble. So in general I tend to forego adding the integrated gold production and just feed in gold sheets by hand when I need precision mechanisms.

I'm making an "everything factory" with my friend in a custom 1.20.1 modpack, I'll definitely have to make one of the hallways into a museum hallway with this machine, with a separate exhibit for each step and belts going overhead to connect perpendicular exhibits. The whole series was a slow burn romance between the characters. It never got resolved by the time the series ends but there were indications things became more official by the last installment (look at the beds in the tent at the base camp!). When rythian revealed the incomplete plans for the rest of the series he still left the whole romance thing a "you can make your mind up about that" scenario @@ComXDude
So we've not only had rockets containing details of Hole Diggers, we've now had an audio log from Blackrock. If this is leading to something like a new Yogs complete pack then I am very here for it!
They have said they're going to release the modpack when the series completes. In terms of something like the yogs complete server, probably not. A lot has changed since back then.

I can only remember Satisfactory where he couldn't figure out a thing and derailed the series for multiple episodes... and Lewis had to carry everything.
They're only using mekanism power to run the computer. It would be a waste of time and resources to upgrade them when they're running well under capacity already
You guys should build the create elevator. I think you guys would love it as create has a specific elevaor pulley to make them. They are insanely smooth and just a must for multi story buildings

Guys, just remember that it is an easter egg. Rhythian has stated on several occasions that he wouldnt do any long-winded minecraft series again as it takes a lot of time and energy, and zoey has stepped away from a lot of recordings. This is just a nod to the other series rather than a hint of it coming back.
the junction in the sewer should definitely go out in a pipe but it should have a deep pool in the middle so its like an overflow pipe. I think there are some catwalk blocks that would look fantastic in there!

They took everything incredibly serious in their minecraft series. This was their downfall in the end, as it was extremely mentally taxing to record even a single episode. (For Zoey atleast, it had to be perfect or she would feel horrible, leading to late nights of building and scripting)

"Can you make glue from people" I mean, yeah in theory? Setting aside ethical/moral issues, it's presumably just less efficient than many other animals. You'd get something vaguely like hide glue or other animal glues, which use the collagen from skin/bones/etc to create the glue. Not setting aside the ethical/moral issues, we probably shouldn't be using (or creating) corpses for glue.

I can't believe they haven't put windows in the pipes going through the sewers (or just generally around the factory) - all you need to do is right click on a pipe with a wrench to put a window in it. It means more rendering is required, so frame-lag can be an issue with large numbers of them, but it does look _very_ cool (and they're playing on fairly beefy PCs afaik?)
