Kang is crazy, I'm excited for Doom but it does sucks that Kang isn't the main villain anymore I was really looking forward to what they would do with him. Hopefully he still has a decent role in the next two avengers movies even though he's not the main villain.
Kang in Quantumania is weakened. They literally explained this in the movie. Janet explained that "Kang was banished to the Quantum Realm because it was a place *outside* of "space and time" because it is "the only place that could hold him."." And even when Janet said that she sabotaged his ship's core she specifically said that she "cut him off from time." Time is what makes Kang so powerful because he is called "The Master of Time." So since he is cut off from time, then he is weakened because he cannot access his full capabilities, like he can jus travel anywhere, he can't summon any weapon from any point in time, he can not access any more and new knowledge and technology to upgrade his technology and himself and things like that. So I was looking forward to a stronger Kang running rough shot through the Avengers and all of Marvel before they scrapped the Kang story for Dr. Doom. But the bottom line is that Kang in Quantumania was weakened.
The reason why he who remains pruned branch timelines was to prevent malevolent versions of himself from existing and knowing that they were be reborn through their timelines and by time manipulation, even he who remains was reborn through time manipulation by loki in loki S2.

The way they made Kang in the movie was wrong. They made him weak. Its something you can’t explain away. The movie was also weak. They messed up the whole concept.

Absolute facts. Kang had so much potential they could build up to. Him being defeated by antman just doesnt make sense.
