@TheArcSet In terms of the shift of writing dynamics, that's all too true. It's funny, you think that with the answer the Avengers gave Doom he'd stop and think about it. However, it seems that Doom sees life as a mirror of what happened to him as he started his quest to gain power so he refuses to right answer in favor of his own.
It was written that we on purpose Dr Doom is supposed to be the prime example of a narcissistic personality disorder. similar to 1987's Emperor Doom. He managed to conquer and control the whole world, no more wars, no more crimes, no more famine, the Avengers kick him out, then Wonderman asks Captain America if they was the right thing knowing that the world would return to wars and crimes, etc, Captain America replied something like "people should have the right to choose".
I remember in boot camp we had somebody say stuff similar to this. It's because they had never really had power in their lives so they didn't understand what it meant. They were not ready for the responsibility of being a Marine, after going through boot camp and learning about responsibility and what it means to have power over others they fortunately changed. Plus superheroes are not about making the world a better place. They are about maintaining the status quo. Do you know any States military isn't out there trying to make the world better, we're trying to keep the world stable and alive.
Difference between having nuclear weapons and traditional firearms and having the power to rewrite reality travel back in time stop time resurrect the dead are difference a lot. So yeah when super hero doesn't make the world the better place it's reflect the still writing as a poor quality because they have the ability to do whatever the f*** they want yet they still maintain the same stagnation. They literally recreated the multiverse twice so yeah them not making the world or the universe about the place is right and valid point. F****** idiots it's not our responsibility when you have the literal power to recreate creation itself That's not responsibility That's just lazy
@comicsexplained. False Thor, Hercules, Namor, Hulk would own the mutants. In fact Thor once killed them all and took over the earth. So the correct thing to say is Other then these guys there are also some other hero's the mutants cant beat like Stephen strange. So let not get carried away there.

Fascinating as the argument... Compared to All the Ills plus Devestations we're overwhelmed by, is that really such an infringement of Free Will?

similar to 1987's Emperor Doom. He managed to conquer and control the whole world, no more wars, no more crimes, no more famine, the Avengers kick him out, then Wonderman asks Captain America if they was the right thing knowing that the world would return to wars and crimes, etc, Captain America replied something like "people should have the right to choose".
And here I was thinking the Avengers were going on a ‘The Authority’ arc, but it ends with Doom being predictably himself. 😂
I want a copy of every issue published by marvel, please please please make a video about the order of all the comic books and how to get them
I remember in boot camp we had somebody say stuff similar to this.
"I say that because it is true!" 😅
Doom showing the Avengers their potential feels almost like a seed being planted in Storm to be the catalyst for the Second Age of Krakoa 🫢
Marvel when they’re running low on ideas: “With this treasure I summon God King Doom”
If they could make this into a movie that would be 🔥🔥🔥
Omg. Already loving the tie-in impacting consequences incurred, following through. I'm so, geeking out to get to Rob citing Doom as the Sorcerer Supreme. Fingers, Toes, even balding Hairs Crossed
Yup... It's really happening. Your're the Man Mr. Jefferson, coz i find no better euphoric release in terms of the Comic-Verse, than when it's your distinct Translation of the Issues. You've no idea how i awaited this particular 1. Thanks Man
Fascinating as the argument... He's quite purely proposing such Enforcement, would they insist, rather than the Avenging with every cost and incurrence thereof, Doom only establishes a Paradigm wherein we'd all follow the simple, live your life, responsibilities with compliances, to no detriment imposed upon any other, and we all would be at Peace. Compared to All the Ills plus Devestations we're overwhelmed by, is that really such an infringement of Free Will?
Somebody call Reed, this fool done lost his everlasting mind out here.
Yeah, that sounds like Doom all right!...dude'll talk about ultimate power all day AND all night
I hope Doom gives a version of this speech in the avengers movies
