Hey, love your content! Being an owner, i am loving this bike and I think you guys should really try the bike yourself first, your whole perspective would change about what y'all shared 1) redline- i have ridden the ninjas and liked the screaming nature, but you really dont feel the need of scream while riding this, its got enough power and torque to make you giggle, and giving few more horses is feels just an on paper thingy 2) tyres - they are good and grippy, i do feel confident on twisties, indian tyres are well known around the world, even monster trucks use indian tyres, your italian gf can wear kangan and saree and stuff :) 3) electronics - the only missing thing when compared to duke 390 is just cornering abs, 6 axis imu and launch control do we really need this for a bike less than 500cc? Seems a little overkill but good to have 4) parts and accessories - they are trying hard to provide everything that requires, few accessories are unnecessarily way over priced. 5) service and issues - it is highly unlikely that you will face brake fading in city, some of others faced bike going to the left and some had battery issues, thing is few service centers are not ready to acknowledge the problem and service guys need to be trained more Overall- its a beautiful bike and fun to ride, dont feel anything missing as such and can do really well if they just be a little more customer centric :)
I would not recommend Aprilia bikes as of now, unless and until they provide good after sales service experience. As i owned Aprilia SR150 scooter, i can say in my area, services are very bad. Their behavior, their lack of technical knowledge etc.
Regarding the redline, 270 deg firing order traditionally doesn’t rev too high , hence duke 890 /790 , aprilia 660 , even cf Moto 450 Only these 180 deg parallel twins like ninja , r3 have high rev nature Plus these it depends on cylinder construction , where each cylinder is little over square in these Japanese bikes and those European have longer stroke . I have ridden r3 and ninja 300 , trust me until u rev the shit out , it’s boring 😅 , you need explosive torque to get sudden thrusts out of corners or overtake in traffic . Plus aprilia is only restricted to be in 175kg weight limit and 48 bhp , to be under that license
The R3's design proportions are Spot On. It looks beautiful and well designed from every angle. But the the RS 457 looks a little miss-proportioned. Its great from some angles but looks short and incomplete from some angles. However there is a saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
Some of the owners are saying that aprilla is gone increase its price in September or October onwards I don’t know whether it’s true or not but if anyone knows please tell
Can you do a podcast on Royal Enfield 650's break failure issue(one of the biggest issue). If it is possible can you discuss about why are breaks getting failed what are the reasons and is there any solution for it.
Guys, this is exactly how Ktm entered the market. Yes Ktm had Bajaj support. But Aprilia is manufacturing in India so parts won't take too long and spares also will be cheaper
Bhaiya really loving your channel ..very informative videos ..never ever stop making videos if you will stop making videos then remember that someone is waiting for your ..videos ..love from Uttar Pradesh
Bro can u tell me after market branded airfilter is good for long time on bike…? Like k&n,dna and sprint airfilter ..? If anyone want to upgrade it from the stock one for longtime..?🤔🤔
Fantastic video as always, Vikas. Your views may come across as contrarian but they are the truth. The fact they people are still comparing R3 with Aprilia just shows how little they know about motorcycles. 2-3 years down the line people will realise how many corners Aprilia has cut to grab the market. Cheers;))
Please make a podcast video on the BSA Goldstar 650 with Tarun. Many people are not confident to purchase this bike as it has a single cylinder engine while Interceptor has a twin cylinder engine. It would be helpful if you can also take a test ride of the BSA Goldstar 650 and share your thoughts about the difference in ride experience and quality between this and the Interceptor.
As an Gen2 RC 390, I tested and rode the RS 457 and honestly. The Aprilia has a great engine but in all over package the RC is better due to a number of points like service network, parts availability, an engine that's been tested since years, better breaks and tyres and the list is a bit longer. If Aprilia is being partial towards Indians for real, then it'll be their own downfall in the market. Also for 390 owners, if you're looking to upgrade from an RC 390 to an RS 457, it's not worth the jump. Get a 600.
RS457 is good, but service is absolute trash here in chennai, even for servicing 125cc scooter they are taking 20 days, when asked them about it they said we lack technicians. They don't even sell spare parts. I almost tried 7 service centers in chennai all of them are trash. Eventually I get to fight with them every service. They don't even service scooter properly. Now they launched RS457, those who buys it gonna feel later 😅.
brake level - 990. Complete fairing kit - prismatic dark 18-25k(painted - other colours will be cheaper) Only major engine components will be an issue which will be covered in warranty. Cloth plate lets see what is the scene.
At 3:47, that made me spit out my tea laughing 😂. Jokes aside that high revving nature is exactly what I love and is the reason why I would still get an R3 despite it lacking many things or a Ninja 300 even. To me personally that high revving motor is addictive.
Major chunk of Indian motorcycling is commuter oriented, second chunk is cruiser oriented , very minimal sports bike, enduro and adventure oriented. Although sportsbike r not my cup of tea I m happy at least something is coming . parallel twins are here from some times when will v twins come when will be free from chain drives and shift to less maintenance demanding belts and shaft drives
If someone was looking into buying a R3 or ninja then Aprilia has done good enough with that aggressive pricing. But someone who is looking for a duke or RC the price difference is too much and nothing too special to spend that much that for an Italian. Aprilia is already a problematic brand abroad, in India it will be a mess with the service.
Revving to 12k-14k rpm will make it unusable on street, too high a torque band that no one can access the power defeats the purpose of this bike. Thats the only reason why inline 4 engines feel so boring on our streets, because you have to ring out the throttle for the real power.
All the points which you discussed are true except for the tyres... Those TVs protorq extreme tyres which are used in RS457 are excellent. It might not be Italian but it is pretty good. This doesn't mean that I support aprilla... All the other points which u discussed are true
The Quick shifter , TPMs and the handle gards are all imported they are not made in india and about break pad the front at center break pads the rear pads are organic
Wait before buy aprilia coz aprilia scooter owner facing many issue regarding after sale service. Aprilia doesnot provide parts to the local service centre or local parts dealer Here in Guwahati only 1 showroom and service centre available and it is a headace to maintain aprilia scooter nd vespa's The value of new aprilia scooty in the second hand market is very bad because of the parts availablity Owner are force to sell new scooter at half of its price Maintenance of a 200cc bike is cheaper than maintaining a SR160
Don't you guys think if Aprilia would use the same engine and make an ADV out of it, it would sell like pancakes ? It would be best fucking deal for indian roads ? With production of RS457 in India already, is it too much to ask for ?
Brother talk about the triumph quality day by day it’s became worst I guess I bought a 765r 3 months back driven 1500 till now how come Sarree guard is broken when I see got shocked about quality spending 12laks money for this cheaper quality I didn’t understand Till now it don’t have scratch but broken steel😂 what a shame
Bhai dis bike is the bst & generate max power which is max for a2 lisence & NXT year Dey are launching race ecu so we are gonna get all rev limit which I need & more hp also so plz stop spreading hate for aprilia
Quality content r never appreciated and this is why this channel is so underrated.

Thanks for the support brother
Aprilia RS457 has killed Yamaha R3 in every aspect. The real comparison of this bike should be with R3. 😅

Thank you brother for the detailed message!
In European countries you need the A2 license to drive with the rs457 (47hp 35kw) and the A license to drive without power limits, there you go
Thanks for the inputs brother!

Can I put a piggyback ECU on ns400 to make it a bit more aggressive or should I flash that ECU . Would it make any difference ???
As far as I know, due to emission norms, companies have to move the redline to a lower limit.
Thanks for watching brother!
Vikas bhai, please make a details review of fuelx pro, if it's of any use or just a gimmick.

Im 45+ . Will they introduce a version with a more upright and comfy sitting position. Maybe a street bike version of the Rs 457.

Lowering redline, Lowering compression ratio than European spec machines is for making way for E20, E50 or flex fuels of the future...

Want ur review on daytona 660 😊
Love your videos. Waiting for duke 390 2024 video.
I was eyeing rs457 but Aprilia has a notorious reputation of after service. Already suffering the same from tvs and I fear of the same from Aprilia.

Better go for 310 GS, because I have one, though not a sports bike.
I would still get a Ninja 500, RC390, or R3 - in that order. Unlike RSV4, there's nothing special "behind the choli" of this Aprilia.
