One resource I’ve found is podcasts. I’ve found a few that have presented selections that I have enjoyed. I’ve found books that I was already planning to read on podcasts, . . .but I’ve also scrolled through and found things on their lists that I never would have thought to read. (I’ve also found selections to re-“read”.). So far I’ve enjoyed the following podcasts:
    -SEP fanfic readings
-Ella McSmellBella reads Harry Potter Fanfiction
    -ETL Echo Audiobooks
    -Demon Feed Audio
Note also that some audiobooks are not on podcast but can be found on TH-cam (like all the young dudes)
Using these podcasts has helped me get up and get busy (walking the lake, gardening, doing chores) when otherwise I might be tempted to be stationary. Also couple tips: 1) you can go back/forth on any story between the audio and the written version (so like audio on a walk then pick up where I left off on the same story with written version at bedtime) 2) on some stories you may want to spot check the written version so you don’t miss artwork links, etc.
I recently “read” just the best ever one shot-dance with me by enigmaticrose4 (on ellamcsmellbella). It was sooo good and it was a little treasure I wouldn’t have found otherwise.

You hit so many good ideas-one you forgot is to watch TH-cam presenters like yourself who offer reviews and recommendations! Also I don’t remember if you said this one in the video-checking out other works by an author of a story that you liked. Another source can be to do an internet search (e.g. best dramione fanfictions) and there are quite a few nice articles with curated lists.

Don’t remember if it’s mentioned in this vid, but another idea is to click on a tag that you like. For example, I was interested in Dudley Dursley, so I searched ao3 for stories on him, but kind of got everything but the kitchen sink. I clicked on one of the stories, though, and it had a tag: “Dudley Dursley has a magical child,” so I clicked on that tag which brings you to a collection of stories all with that tag, and this really zoned in on what I was interested in (then I resorted that list by kudos and it was even better).

i use android, lately i use app called evie to read out loud my fan fiction, it helps me to finish a fan fiction quicker since I'm a slow reader 😅😂 also i could do other things while i listen to it.
