Yooo Alex and the gang, crazy idea - Add a text box at the checkout where we can ask a question for the podcast after buying something. There's a big tech podcast (Wan show) that did the same and they make SO much extra money just selling merch for messages. Or just do a regular Q+A form, but having it at checkout seems to help with the volume of messages while paying for someone to manage it all. Would be cool!!
Winter tires come with a price, but most sets I get last for 4+ seasons!!! They pay themselves off so quickly. My 95 e36 was the best car I've ever driven in winter with a set of snow tires. Don't sleep people
On the subject on the conti viking contact7, I love those tires. I ran them on a E46 330xi and now on my 03 Mercedes CLK 500. Even with a V8 rwd car they perform incredible. Hate that I have to use them but they work really well.
If the shop don't have reviews it might be new like mine we do a Lil bit of everything but we just opened so if they have no reviews at all go in talk to the people see what you think about them if it seems there a decent person, know what there doing, and reasonably priced Maybe give them a chance who knows you might love it
Adding our stories into the podcast will definitely add in some more community incorporation. I was actually trying to update my buildsheet on the website but I couldn't get access to edit it.
Build threads idea - a simple tag for "finished" or "in progress" would be nice. Would also love the option to add planned mods to the thread. Could have a little timeline sorted by date, divided into past and future. I could see it being the best tool for planning and sharing builds, and collaboration with each other for future decisions. Forreal man, martiniworks could sweep that up and be the go-to spot for it
I’ve always loved the Subaru guys but they’re always in denial about the issues they have. And you can never get a clear answer on anything over there.
Nissans legacy support is great too. Where so many of the Japanese manufacturers just drop support....looking at you, Mitsubishi, Nissan recognizes that people are still enjoying their older cars and thsupmake it easier to do that.
speaking of the R35, i just hope that when they design the R36 they move away from the ugly (in my opinion) vertical headlights and give it headlights more like the ones on the R32-34. I feel my biggest issue with the R35 is the headlight design
I can think of one car that looks just as good in convertible form as it does in hardtop form; the 5th and 6th gen Camaros. The roofline and C pillar are the same shape regardless of roof material. Also targa tops are great for people like me, who like the rigidity of a fixed roof, and the freedom of open air. While it is technically not a convertible nor a hardtop, a targa top solves both issues, at least to a degree.
Can you add an "Edit" option to the build threads so we can update them? I'm not sure how they appear on the site either but maybe once they're updated they can repopulate to the top and not be buried? I'm finally getting my body kit taken care of and don't want to start over 😅
Seems like youtubers doom farming these recalls have made them more present, the people complaining about x recalls on y cars a few years ago were saftey nuts or toyota cultists.
you guys are so far off on new trucks lol. I have an enclosed car trailer with my race car being hauled by a 2002 GMC Envoy SUV for 7 years. If you cant haul a car with a F150, come on. 12,000lb towing capacity and you are struggling to tow 8,000 lbs?
HAPPY FRIDAY! Looking to mod your car? We can get you every car part you want at www.martiniworks.com
0:10 what is that white wheel above the left shoulder?

My favorite car podcast crew.

Lotus uses toyota engines 2gr and 2zz. But I'm not sure if they are full partners
Glad yall chose the subject for this one. I've been talking to everyone about the state of the car industry trying to figure out wth is going on
Happy Friday boys 🎉

I absolutely loved the t tops on my z31 300zx when I had it. Fun little risk to the weekend drive if you decided to leave your t tops at the house. 😂

Sounds like things are Work'n out for you guys.
just put my build on the website as you guys were talking about overhauling it. Lots of plans for it with a story.
Lars saying Lotus has to collaborate with other manufactures while lotus uses the Camry V6 and A45 inline 4 on the emira is so funny to me😂
Build highlights is a great idea!

I love my hybrid maverick. I can haul my motorcycles, move my parents furniture, and the sweet sweet mpgs
