Great band. I describe them as hard rock with some electronic pop and elements of metal. They never surpassed their first album Mana though. That was a stylish and breathtaking piece of work. I like Manda's commanding vocals.
Its an interesting transition from their previous album "In Control". It kinda has an Evanesence meets early Linkin Park mash up. Its wicked awesome!!!!

I recently discoverd these guys,as I live in Australia where we don't have this style happening much, they are just exploring and writting what they are feeling at that point in time, and if that doesn't conform to someone else's preconcieved ideas of what they "should be doing" well..... tuff!, keep it up guys you have a new convert, went and got your other 2 albums fro JB-HiFi and love them.

I don't care if anyone is gay or lesbian; I thought maybe she was an Angel who came to breathe hope and love back into the troubled woman. She is an alcoholic and the ending kiss is either the Angel (Manda) breathing in love and hope or sucking out the alcoholism. Each of us can have our own opinions about its meaning. It's all art and I love it. The lyrics are great. Listen to them. Maybe the Angels are inside us all?
Danica Roberts just my opinion...and i believe i am right! the woman is clearly an alcoholic and drug addict. i see no reason to think this is a promotional video for lesbianism. maybe it is...that is your belief. what is wrong with my take on this video?
That said I applaud US both for not flaming but having a nice decent discussion .... I almost hope it continues ..... I don't know your age but I am 42 and absolutely grew up on Metal! Foreigner, Journey, and Heart were Hard Rock examples. Metal was always defined by the drums, a generally thick layered "Wall of Guitars" or simply by the presence of extended solos , and a certain type of drum beat.
I cannot get enough of this song, Manda, and Nemesea!!! This band is even better than another popular band (Evanescence) that I also like. I hope they never give up and keep the same formula found on The Quiet Resistance.
By the way, if this is pop, then bring it to the U.S.! I'd gladly become a pop fan. If you called it mainstream Euro Goth then I might agree but pop is nothing like that here. Love this Cd.
