Металл банды в очередной раз доказывают , что могут спокойно сделать кавер версию, любой поп композиции. Которая , как минимум , не будет уступать оригиналу. А скорее всего, даже превосходить оригинал.

Sirenia is my favorite band! They always bring new elements while not losing their essence.
Fun fact: this is the second cover Sirenia records. The first one was "First We Take Manhattan" back in 2004, also with Emmanuelle Zoldan, her first solo appearence in the band (she's been in the sirenian choir since "An Elixir for Existence").
I enjoy seeing a band taking a cover song and making it theirs stylistically. There's no challenge in simply imitating the original. Sirenia did a great job laying claim to this track.

Where is the part of gothic? Where are the black voices? Where are the choirs? Where is these deep water atmospheres? It does a lot to say they don't lost their essence ... Why singing too similar to the original song ? To be annoying, i would even say that the original version sounds more SIRENIA than Sirenia's version... 'cause the verses sound deeper and more mysterious ...

Hello 🌞20.11.2024 at the Prague club Storm and although I was originally looking forward to Xandria, I have to say that I really liked Sirenia live. The singer Emmanuelle has great charisma and the whole band was pedaling like a perfectly synchronized engine. I will look forward to the next show ✨🤘

Yo recuerdo la versión original. Finales de los 80s hubo un gran auge en la música francesa, que en México se "hicieron covers" en español. Esta versión de Sirenia es genial.

Such an fantastic metal song, and when I read in the description part (under the video), I found out it was a cover. I listened to the original a few months back, and it's cool, but i like this version better. And, this is the first time this year that I discovered Sirenia, and found out a few months ago this year, they have been around since 2002. So, since this song came out 8 months ago, and discovering the song a few months after, I can say I am a fan of Sirenia now. Fantastic song, brilliant band, and a fantastic Vocalist.
