@@doejohn4613not true. They are under Air Force civil engineering. For recruitment purposes they are lumped in with “special operations “ because of the higher than standard fitness requirements. Air Force EOD is by and large not special operations and people should not be joining with that in mind.

Lol it’s very rich to hear that everyday in EOD preliminary training there is “2-4 hrs of physical activity” from this TSgt who looks like a couch potato. Really selling the career field.
Good video, but the only thing that seems a little silly is the people in class smiling. Personally, with a mission of disarming ordinance, I don't see a lot to smile about.

Wow these guys are darn near getting spec ops gear, I wonder if they get attached to AFSOC and SOCOM missions sometimes.
Often times they do.
@@_CORVUS well that explains the spicy training regiment, hell yeah. Lol
They are classified under Air Force Special Operations (AFSOC) and work with everyone especially SOCOM,AFSOC,JSOC,MP/SF, and Federal agencies.
they are not part of afsoc, unless they are picked up by the 24. @@doejohn4613

Greetings from Poland. Poland celebrates its 25th anniversary in NATO.
Poland is welcome here - A NATO ally that actually takes part in the alliance, unlike many others.

Maybe they are having a good day? Nothing wrong with smiling. In fact it takes less muscles to smile then to frown 😊
EOD techs have a pretty good sense of humor. Work hard play hard kind of attitude.
@gmalda I agree. Must be better than my time in the infantry.
