Nestled on the northeastern coast of the #Peloponnese, on the #Argolid #Peninsula, Epidaurus offers a captivating blend of historical intrigue and #natural beauty.
It lies 126 km southwest of #Athens, 60 km south of #Corinth and 36 km east of #Nafplio. The distance between the settlement of Archaia Epidavros and the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus itself is 16 km.
Two villages bear the name #Epidavros; Archaia Epidavros and Nea Epidavros, which are surrounded by fascinating ancient ruins and authentic nature. This place was named after the hero Epidauros, son of #Apollo.
#Archaia Epidavros is nestled along the Saronic Gulf, offering panoramic views. Explore the charming harbour, the colourful streets and alleys of the town, full of aromas and picturesque corners.
