in a way, I feel like this visual could represent the removal of the mask and the death of IP2. Awsten wouldn’t look at the camera for IP photoshoots, and the only time he really looks at us is at the very end, where he’s no longer wearing the glasses. he’s not talking to the yaoi demons in his head anymore. he’s talking to himself.

just want to thank you for releasing this track for us. parx has so many songs written about the situations in our lives that we can all morbidly relate to. for me, talking to myself is like the feeling of insecurity to the point of obsession. i have literally torn myself down in the mirror about my appearance, or even more existentially. to gravely unearthing my wants and dreams. parx music constantly inspires me to live a creative career, but knowing I will never be able to fully pursue my artistic passions as a job because I won't be able to financially support myself. it's really important to hear 'talking to myself' as a validation of my own feelings and also giving the same energy as "see you in the future". "Ill see you when its safe" is always something that stuck with me since awsten said it in an interview gh era. that's how i feel about my creative career really, its not safe for me yet. One day i think ill have the ability to pursue it, but constantly I am shut down about it from family and peers, etc. so, thank you for this song, I needed it.
