- Instead of unpacking our moving boxes, we first began exploring this 1915 Kendrick Garage. We stumbled onto lots of treasures and little hiding spaces - and even a secret room!!

The one piece you didn't know what it was with the two points is the end of a pike pole. Used for logging on the Clearwater log drives.

The yard stick with holes was used for keeping engine valves in the order removed so they could be replaced in the same position after grinding.

Clean the cylinders on the hoist with a very oily rag and make sure the seal at the base is lubricated to maintain the seal.

Probably needless to say, but I really hope you guys are watching out for asbestos in there as you poke around.... I feel like there's almost guaranteed to be some, and I'd hate to see you have issues because of it. Love seeing all the cool old stuff you're finding!!
Appreciate the heads up! Yes, we are definitely keeping that in mind during the remodel.
@@WrenchChill All the old drywall will likely have asbestos in it and the old insulation around pipes and ducts. There are likely videos on how to safely remove. Best of luck with your new shop!
The piece of glass with the curved end looks like a Chevy station wagon rear quarter glass...worth good $$$
